  1. Nice one jason. And alan, you often seem to have trouble seeing pics? Perhaps its something to do with your internet settings of something? Im not that great with technology to be honest haha i dont really live up to the expectation of teenagers being computer wizes haha
  2. Keep the photos coming! You seriously have stunning animals and enclosures. Thanks for spicing up the reptile secrion on this forum too, its been a bit quiet lately haha
  3. as long as their needs are met, then plastics containers aren't a problem in my opinion. obviously they still need room but plastic tubs are at times a better choice than big bulky glass or wooden enclosures.
  4. Yeah they seem like good reliable incubators and as with everything, the best usually has a bigger price tag
  5. okay cool, ive got one of those reptaprobe thermostats, how are they? i have it on the leo tank and i hear it click on and off quite often. seems to keep the temp pretty constant
  6. what do you guys think of this as a diy incubator? looks pretty simple, and by the looks of it would work well too?
  7. oh wow, looks good. mind me asking how much it cost to build?
  8. i guess it all comes down to personal preference. i can name hundreds of good things about dragonz leos but then i can also say the same about alans. both are different but both still sit under the same category as a "high yellow". no need to argue about it i reckon as they are all stunning and a lot of hard work has clearly gone in to both. at the end of the day, dont buy it if its not what your after
  9. Yeah Mack snows arent black and white as adults
  10. Yeah got an overhead shot by any chance?
  11. Great info and stunning babies alan!
  12. oh gotyah lol. i thought you meant yah had salamanders running around lol
  13. yeah thats what i always thought, reason for the sarcastic comment above
  14. oh sorry haha. looks like my sarcasm backfired on me haha. are they morphed axolotls?
  15. Yeah, to use with the legal female tiger salamanders in nz
  16. Well people brang in cats, dogs, rats etc that are the leading cause of the die offs of many native species so whats the harm in a few tropical reptiles that wont survive in our climate anyway?
  17. Good idea lol but i wouldnt know sorry
  18. No worries dragonz. And they are $150+ prices just like fish depend on colour, age, health etc etc
  19. Hmm i doubt that to be honest. It all comes down to the keeper and the gecko itself, they will all have differet appetites and growth patterns just like we do so i dont think you can rule out all of them being slow growers. The top photo of my female is one i bought off dragonz and it was a march baby. Like i said before, i got her the same time as reptilez and they were sisters i believe from the same clutch? anyway shes 49grams as of yesterday too so she seems to have a nice growth rate and apetite, not to mention colour so thanks heaps dragonz!
  20. Yeah my female i got with reptilez from dragonz has a great feeding response. Reptilez one never seemed to want to eat so dont know whats was up with that
  21. cheers mate, how about a few pics of yours?
