Silicone will seal them you just need sealant/adhesive rather than the sealant. A bit more expensive but will save on frustration later.

My boy is on 6-7 cups a day. Every now n then I get him some nice meat or bones but other than that he is on dry foods. Just my 2 cents... Mal's, Huskies, Akitas ect. are as you most likely know, very manipulative. They will eat what you want them to eat in the end though because you are the pack leader. I Only say this because if you are feeding two huskies a meat diet it will get expensive and can, from what I understand, be quite bad for them. ( this may be something I heard half of though ) My boy went almost a week of eating only small amounts of his food and it was almost impossible to get him back to biscuits after he tasted meat. After stressing like mad I changed his feeding routine and would put his food in my lap and pretend to eat it for a bit them nudge it over to him. Now he inhales the food Just a thought anyway.

Talk to a vet before you feed them meat only diet. There is a company that sells really good frozen meat pellets for dogs ( it is new to the market ) but I can't for the life of me remember the name of it. I will try and find out although with two huskys I am sure that would break any ones bank balance

How many times have they spawned? I am not too experienced but I do know it does take them a while to get the hang of it and they do eat the ones that are not fertilised or have fungus. ( I assume this is to stop the fungus spreading )

Ok so I have 3 angles a friend gave me, they seemed to settle in okay. he mentioned they chase each other sometimes ect and they have been doing that to a certain degree, nothing to serious. Until last two days, They have been fighting quite hard. Locking mouths and tugging back and forwards. It is now pretty much non stop. Not really sure what to do. I have no idea if they are males or females. I can put one in a 50L for a short time to see how they go but that seems to small even for one of them. It does seem to be two picking on one but hard to tell as they move around so fast. Any advice would be great.

I have a 450L which I am going to try and do a similar thing but I agree, I would love this on a larger scale, frogs, lizards, fish, insects. Basically I want to make a self sustainable bio dome. Edit: That I can figit with as well of course :facepalm:

To an extent yeah. You would most likely have to send them in via email so they were aware but yeah. Send in a few pics of you n your mates doing crazy stuff with the product. I know for a fact that some do and get emails like that all the time. Business owners are people too, they like to know people like their products and they like to keep the loyal customers. Could be either really but most likely this.. If you can see little beetles running around then you are in trouble as borer live in the wood for a few years before they evolve. ( I think )

Termites?

Never heard of one sorry. I used to work in the housing sector and most of the time we came across it the entire house had to be fumigated, otherwise we just got the stuff from mitre 10 and hoped for the best. I would say you will be fine with the mitre 10 stuff, just might need to cover the tanks with towels or cardboard for a few days I am sure they will be fine. If I understand right then the termites would have come with the wood on your stand and you probably have caught it early enough not to worry too much. "The website killthetermites.com recommends using Termidor or a similar chemical. Termidor contains the chemical fipronil, which is safer for the environment than many other pesticides. It only requires a few ounces for the treatment, and it kills the termites rather than just repelling them." Hope that helps a bit.

Do you have wooden floors? How long have you had the cabinet? If the termites are not from the cabinet then they are from somewhere else in the house and you will need to kill them too. Out of curiosity and safety I would go around all your wooden doorways ect and look for holes and little piles of "saw dust" better to be safe than sorry .
