When i bought him/her had a white spot on his back right next to his fin......I thought it was just a funny marking but it did appear to grow a bit..... the other day I noticed it looked a little red and raw so I thought well maybe it was a heater burn, but today I notice its actually quite a deep looking wound.... it seems happy, is eating normally and cruising around the tank fine....not happy with me now because I've put him into a plastic container floating on the top of the tank, I've put a wee bit of salt in there with him....is there anyting else I can do? Everyone else in the tank is fine and healthy....... Sorry for the crappy phone pics, can't find my camera...

Do they grow as big as the SAE's?

I read that they are more agressive thsan the SAE's though.....kinda hoping for a semi peaceful tank lol

I played the demo the other day, its so cool..... my workmate just gave me the GOW 1&2 now....I wanna go home right now and play....hmmmm, maybe I can suddenly come down with some flu like symptoms....."cough, cough"

Yeah, I have to remember to make sure the stripe goes right to the end of the tail for SAE from what I have read, I'm thinking I might get 3 or 4 of these to keep each other company..... though dummy here forgot about having to make sure my driftwood sinks, which it doesn't so at the moment it is in a tank with rocks on top of it lol.....leeching tannins like anything even after I boiled them on the weekend.....so hopefully this process will help get rid of a lot of that too

Yeah, that is the sucky thing..... I'm hoping to settle in this weekend and have a God of War marathon...... have managed to borrow 1&2 off someone so want to get these out of the way before I get the 3rd one...... love getting new games to play!!!

Does anyone have any ideas how much SAE's and Tiger Barbs cost?

On the up side if you get a new one..... they are not too bad a price these days and much bigger HD....but yeah, bug bummer about being unable to TF games, movies etc, but ya never know one day your busted one might come alive long enough for you to DL everything to a memory stick hehe.......

I don't think legally it has to be current, in my job I have financed several vehicles for people that aren't current....thats for purchasing outright, I would imagine it would be the same for trade ins, it may be one of their conditions though at the sales yard and your salesman may have just been trying to pass the buck so you didn't question him.

Play it plenty, but don't generally take it to other peoples houses, the games I usually play aren't the kind that you play as a group Mine just wouldn't switch on, red light of death yes....but I'm thinking for a different reason than the preblem you are having

I've never had any probs with mine, mines an 80g I think. The only time I thought I had a problem like that turned out to be something to do with HDMI settings because at home it was set to HDMI and when I took it to a friends house it needed to be reset because she didn't have HDMI (didn't realise this at the time and was really bummed cos I though it was stuffed)

So it's decided!!!!!! (unless I change my mind) but I don't think I will...... I am going with a SE Asian Biotope..... inhabitants will be..... the CL's, 8-10 Tiger Barbs and I am thinking some Siamese Algae Eaters, whats a good number of these? Eventually I may add some Pearl Dannio's if we have those here...... I have printed out a good biotope plan which has a list of plants that I need too, most of which I can see are readily available so yay....this is so cool....bonus with the tank being long and shallow....the Tiger Barbs come from shallow Asian rivers, so perfect for them........ So just before I get too excited, does anyone see any problem with the stoccking list (apart from the fact that the CL's of course will eventually outgrow this tank) I hope I can pull this off well...... :bounce:
