freash water mussle are cold water and die in a quaria usually any way as their filter feeders and can't compete with filters

they have a rasping i beleive, don't quote me on that. they only reason that i think it would have eaten them would be if it was starving but it takes a completely bare tank to do that, and even then there's the algea

Ive had fish totally dissapear with no snails. Mystery Blue snails will only eat decomposing fish or plant matter as well as fish food. I have had them devour a dead fish but they never touch ones that are almost dead. I don't think even if you starve them they will go for live fish. I forgot to feed mine in a snail grow out tank for a month and they didn't even touch the plants i had in there. Plus i don't think they would be able to trap a fish under their foot to eat unless there was something already wrong witht he fish. Their fast but not that fast. I think you may have just got a bad batch of neons

be hard to find on site that would have everything. I use several diff ones for my research. and even then i have to look other places some time. i think it should be link to the import list past and present. that way you know you will be covering most the fish avalible. Could even do the database here on FNZAS and take it from there

is it a bad idea to put a cool fungi in with frogs? just been in the bush looking for bugs and saw some awesome ones

i've found they don't work to well in troical com. tanks. am going to have a purely shrimp + snail tank. though probably a mix of high temp, 28, and mean fish. I couldn't get my tank any cooler in auckland

Leaves.htm http://www.aquaticcommunity.com/ here are some that i use to find info on fish. The 2nd one is good for live foods and other aquotic life. And then there are always people on line < ie here> who are more than happy to corrupt any sain person to the way of the fish
