Most stuff should have a 12 month warranty. Ask if someone at the shop can show you how it is supposed to be set up as I am surprised you have had 3 in a row with a similar problem and I have not heard of anyone else having the same trouble. I still wonder if it is not being set up correctly. The shop should be keen to see a happy customer and be helping find out what the problem actually is.
Join one of your local clubs. They are full of members all ready to help. One may be willing to visit your home and have a look.
Look under the General section for FNZAS Clubs then see the thread called Labour Weekend in Napier. All the details you need are in there. The auction is for club members only so you had better join the PN group fast!
Andrew Broome (in this forum) is the contact for the PN club.
I know how big it is but can't visualise the concept. I will see it at the weekend, all going well. How is it being moved Warren?
Along with good floor support I hope everyone has good back support too!
I run a Fluval 404 here and it certainly sucks so did the 403 I had before it. Are you sure you have everything connected correctly and the right way around? It should be pulling water through at a good volume.
Where are you oranda? I have daphnia but have no idea if you are even in NZ.
My goldfish never liked worms and I have had others say the same.
Lots of good quality foods and warmer water should do the trick.
Are you sure it is a female? I gather it is hard to tell with goldfish.
Get him to photograph it then bring the camera with you next week. I am sure you can finish off the film in Napier!
We could get it developed then scan it here before you go home again.
Take a photo for Cees Goldie or he will be cross with you!
I have never seen Vallisneria flowering so would like to see it too. If you haven't a digital camera, send the photo to me and I will scan it.
BTW: I got my colour laser printer today!! YIPEEEEE!!!!
I only feed my fish once or twice a week now Pegasus!
I have got the Erythromycin and I am putting the plants into a fishless tank and treating them there. Will keep you posted.
We are not being slanderous Daryl, just stating facts. Didn't say we didnt like them either so calm down!
Instead of 'aggressive', perhaps the PC words should be 'extremely self confident'.
I have never bothered with salt myself although I know it is supposed to be beneficial. Do you add more salt every water change? I thought the salt did not 'go away' (can't think of the right word at the moment) so you only added it once as the concentration of salt would rise with each addition.
I have Kelly Rennell staying with me at the moment and he has given me instructions on how to use the stuff. I am working tomorrow (medical receptionist) and he suggested I ask the Dr if he has some erythromicin as it would be cheaper than the vet.
