  1. Valuenet would be your best bet I think (although ChCh itself may have a local provider I don't know about since I don't live there) as they offer 3 months for $30 with a limit of 80 hours per month. Ought to give you enough time to keep up with your emails and spend time in here
  2. Good to hear!

and I just thought more people would see it in the other section Happy sale to you.

I suggest you put this in the commercial trade and exchange section.
  5. By cleaning I didn't mean algae, I meant the uneaten bits of crud that will get in underneath. Sounds like a great idea. I might try it myself. There are some sites out there detailing how to do similar creations. I think polystyrene is the way to go.
  6. Looks good. How do you clean in it?
  7. I found that happened with photoisland. My pics showed for about an hour then turned into red Xs

Are you sure there's a snail under there?
  9. Keep em coming! The colour of the cabinet is quite different in the 2 photos. Which is closest to the actual colour?

We have never had trouble with it thought the ehdes can be sharp. It is good to make caves with as it is so stackable.
  11. Probably due to a change in the maintenance routine in the tanks. I am sure once you are well again the tnaks will go back to normal. Hope you are recovering well. (((BG)))
  12. They are supposed to be good aren't they? I have no idea what brand my heaters are :-?

Thanks for telling us of your experience. Since I hate such ornaments I would never buy one but I would not have thought to check the edges if I had!
  14. Lucky you! I hope it is a big tank because if you move into it, you are overstocked before you add the fish.
  15. Melafix is a medication and can be found at pet shops.
  16. I tried photo island but it only shows the pic for an hour then it disappears . Perhaps there is something I was supposed to click on and didn't. :-?
17. Here is an article Warren wrote for the Aquarium World magazine... The picture needs to be hosted somewhere other than the FNZAS site and a link is used to display it in your post. Places like www.digitalpose.com do free picture hosting and sharing. There are many places that do this, here are some: www.snapfish.com - provides film developing and online viewing and sharing services. www.picturetrail.com - offers various customizing and picture sharing options. photos.msn.com - store photos online, share them with others, make prints and photo gifts, and finds tips and tricks for creating better images. www.photoisland.com - provides hosting and tools for sharing your photo albums online. www.dotphoto.com - features photo sharing and processing. The site must support picture sharing otherwise the link will not work. There are many other sites too. If you use a search engine with ‘Free Picture Hosting and Sharing’ as the search title you will get lots to choose from. You will need to become a member of the site. Each site is a little different so use their guidelines for uploading your pictures to the site. You are now ready to add pictures to your posts, - here is how to do it. Here is the method to add pictures to a post: This assumes you are using Windows on a PC. It does not cater for Mac’s or Linux based systems. If you are using Linux then you will know enough already not to need this information. 1. Create a ‘New Topic’ or click ‘Post Reply’ in an existing topic to get into the new post screen (see Fig 1). 2. Type in the text of you post. 3. Put the cursor where you want to display the picture. 4. Click on the This is good. The FNZAS Website takes care of displaying the picture for you. When you submit it, it automatically links the picture in.

Remove the charcoal and replace with more noodles.

We pick it up off the side of the road whenever we go over Takaka way Or I think it's schist - Nice flattish stuff?
  20. Is it possible it got stuck between the heater and the tank? If so, make sure it can't happen again. I know little about puffers and remedies but would suggest some Stresscoat. I think this is the product that helps produce a protective slime coating on fish.

Nothing wrong with Fluvals generally speaking.
  22. Caryl replied to LoGaN's topic in Aquatic Plants
Mondo grass is a bog plant but often sold for aquariums. Mine didn't last but that is not necessarily the fault of the plant . I doubt it would surviv with Africans.
  23. Caryl replied to LoGaN's topic in Technical
schist is fine. It fizzes more than bubbles if it is not suitable. A few fine bubbles like yours are just air bubbles.
  24. It also depends on temperature. If she lives somewhere where it is always warm, she would get away with a bristlenose, Ancistrus
  25. Caryl replied to CatBrat's topic in Catfish
the red tail cats are around but supposed to be illegal to keep so I don't know how the 2 pet shops I have seen them in can get away with it. They have had them for years!
