As suspected, the people in the shops don't know anything. Maybe, if we get enough information, or everyone lists what paints they've used, a sticky could be made? maybe? But still, I'm looking for what paints are safe! Thankyou. ps, don't have time to search lots of info...

pfft. People and money... It's not exactly a mystery. 7 x 34 = about $250.

Both, to me, I see no real difference/benefit between neons and cardinals, except cardinals get about .5cm bigger and have a little more red. And for 5 times the price, it really doesn't seem worth it. I will pay a lot for fish, but only if it is really worth it.

And those 22 + 12 have cost you how much?

How many cardinals do u have p44? And how big is that tank?

Why bother? $65 for 10 cardinals or $60 for 30 neons?!

For $10 each, I'd rather get neons.

I know it's a silly subject, but I need some ideas. I feel like buying some new fish today. I have 4 discus (the smallest one died this morning ) corys, and a whiptail. (plus some small things like ottos) My ghost knife is going on tuesday, and then I will buy neons, I'm going to buy a pair of blue rams one I can find a pair. Is there anything That I could add? I'm thinking about another discus or 2, but they're expensive so I will take my time in buying them. What should I buy!? (trying to keep it South American themed)

well... I drew a nice picture of my tank at school. Very detailed. If only it really looked like that.... Buying me a gas can next week... (off topic but ohwell) I'm after some more swords and probably some ... whatever type of sag I have in my tank.

Depends whats on them, boiling /hot temperatures, will also speed up any chemical reactions or clay being released in the rocks, so it will be a heaps up if it will happen. I boiled mine and left them in water for a about a week. I didn't have a tank at the time, but I don't regret it.
