  1. I finally got a little movie made the other day of the loaches and rasbora getting a bit excited over a change in the filter position. I put the outlet out of the water so it made lots of bubbles and current, they thought it was Christmas. Apologies in advance for the purple streak of the light reflection on the right. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjarmrXq_vM&feature=youtu.be

  16. What you are saying is that just because people break rules means it's OK to break them. It's not even a logical argument and is not making you look like an informed person. Next you'll be complaining about being put in jail for drink driving or having to do community service for shoplifting. Both of those acts are also OK because everyone else is doing it according to you. I suggest you keep your so called allowable rule breaking to yourself in future and stop attention seeking.
  17. I wouldn't say they are 'ridiculously' easy to breed, only the first few fry in the community tank survived. I'd call guppies and platies ridiculously easy but these ones you do have to keep moving the fish if you want to save the eggs from being chomped. Of the 5 I mentioned above there is only 1 left, last week 4 of them disappeared but the biggest one lives on alone in the breeding box. Now I've got 2 more pairs in the breeding section of the breeding tank for a few days to see if I can get more fry. I like them anyway, I will keep at it :spop:
  18. If I were you I'd just cut down the lighting so it comes on later in the day, 5 or 6 hours. That should help
  19. Well my tip is this: take your time walking in and make some noise so they know you're coming, otherwise they won't have time to do their hair
  20. the prospect of 'visiting' gorillas makes me laugh - do they know you're coming?
