Hi Guy, could any 1 help me out on this please.. yestoday i was moving tank, the heater in my fry tank when error bost temp up to 32c continuous.. half of my baby jags are gasping at the bottom floor now, i had turn off the heater and add some cold water in already what else could i do to control the stress?

Has anyone succesfully rid their tank of Ramshorn snails?

getting rid of ramshorn snails! i used to have heaps and my clown loaches love them, every time i vacum them gravel there seem to be alot of empty shell..suddenly its just all gone! i would love to have some back in the tank.. -

i like the substrate too..i was going to buy some brightwater gravel to my XL tank! scrapping of some rock..! hmmm that quite abit to do..

try furan2 if melafix doesnt work, My jag was in very bad condition i try melafix+ primafix, and some other products, but dosing furan2 really fix up my fish diease. if you do make sure keep an eyes on the water condition, gluck.

build it by leaving gap so waste flow go straight to the sump, but the BN catfish could go thg. OMG!

hey guy i am just day dreaming on this one, has any1 ever raise an extra base at the bottom of their fish tank? thinking of extra base raise about about 50mm so it could drain out all the bad poo and the left over foods.. think of it, the fish + diftwood are sitting on air :lol: :lol:

David fish room should be good enough for entry fees, Instead of ex Aquri, Zoo, petshop.. is there any1 out there having a public aquarium at there own home? that would be ok ah?

it looked liked Arow, what othe big fish they kept in at the zoo? it was long shape and silver/grey looking. i forgot the type of monkey, it was small & grey colour looking.

GOOoo for it! there shall be breeding, commitment, responsibilty, working, and working and working.. late night water change, wife are shouting, yelling,begging for you to go to sleep.. I say go for it"!

Hey guys, Family out at the Auckland Zoo today. When to see the monkey, as i looked into the water i though i saw 60cm+ Arowana swimming! I was too busy emulating monkey noise, i did =nt get chance to ask the staff, any1 here had seen or hear any thing aboiut Aro at our Zoo? Got to say we have one of the best zoo,better that Oz zoo for sure! I havnt been in our zoo for 10yrs now its a big change, its great holiday for the little one!

oddballs Jags, most seem to feed well with bldworm/bbs but i alway get a few sitting at the bottom not eating -
hey guys, when raising a batch of frys they started out very evenly. day by days 2 or 3 will die out, looked like they are not interest in feeding?? and you couple of fat greedy frys that nibble on anything u drop into the tank?? has any one had a perfect batch without losing any of the frys?

:lol: I remember put that in when i first setup my first fish tank.. I think that its needed because due to 100% fresh clean water been introduce. but now every time i setup a new tank i would start off with 25% of water from existing tank to new tank. that should give plenty og bacteria :lol:
