ohh i told you to syhon them out..one of the reason fish have to eat up their frys is because they fear they cannot protect their hatched frys..

i got the most biggest nutz!! last night i cut 4x 900mm panels for the lid of my tank and that was easy for first timmer, then going on to my disater 10mm laminate tank, i decided to cut down 100mm ott the overflow.. the dam thing was made of 12mm glass.. since my tank was 800 height and 1400 off the floor, bending over and reaching over 900 width was really challenging.. I have never cut glass before, I was alway scare of glass.. at the end i did manage cut off the overflow by double scribing it then banging behinde it many many.. time! :bounce: :bounce: 12mm was hard to cut, what the easiest way to cut 12mm glass?

i think you should wait until the eggs are hatched, then syphon the frys out into another tank to raise them.just make sure you put about 3/4 of the same water into your new tank.

my are 800H x 900w x1.800L but laminate are the problem? boy iam real screw now.. well back to the measurement trying to brace and brace the hell out of this =1.. :oops: :oops:

yep that the things withh size of glass, people advise even glazier told me it ok with 10mm laminate, twice as tough as 10mm standard.. what this about acid eating away laminate?? OMG!! i screw up again? :roll:

OMG!!! I just got1 made this size weeks ago!! Yes i have the same problem with brace element of this size of tank..Iam still try to figure out how to brace it up down here.. bracing this tank is pretty head scratching, when i fill the thing right up the both top side and middle can handle it, but in between the middle and side its will bow.. my are made out of 10mm laminate glass, right now my tank are only half filled, i am going to try to brace it up 2morrow with more glass.. Ryanjury is right to get it well brace you have to brace a glass right in the middle of the tank, but that would be the las option, i was going to put a brace in 3/4 of the tank, any 1 had any sugguestion guy?

its looked pretty healthy, how can we tell if the fish are infertile? is there way to change that uniform?

Hi Breeder needing help on this1, had a breeding pair of jags and its had a success batch of frys before. after i had some problem with the male so there was some replacement of different male into the tank.. the problem iam have now is that the female still laid eggs but after the eggs is laid then all turn white and scattered over, the eggs are dead of course but why are the eggs been scatter? female is circling around looking at her eggs, and pushes the male around? Less eggs been laid, no male lavae? both fish drop their tubing feeding bloodworm+ shrimp pellet fourth time breeding with no success?

how about dropping a fishing hook with some food at the end..? that might help him droppping the pebble :lol: :oops:
