that very easy to define, each animal age rotating every 12 years, so if you both rabbit then morely you both born in the year. The laping years periode is every 12 years..meaning you will be the same ages, or older /younger than him or her in 12 years old :lol:

hey guy, i have a small problem with my golden Severum sprawning.. as soon as couple of eggs turn white the parents gobble up the whole nest.. second time this happen now.. :an!gry I did add in meth blue to stop the eggs from going white.. it seem that the golden Severum are not that easy in breeding comparing to the green Severum..

Yeahhaa :happy1: my Red Devil :evil: had sprawn..the parent were in the community tank when they bond.. its took me good couple of hours to scoop them out.. I cant wait to get my hands on those goodie little frys !drool:

my brown severum was laying eggs inside a community tank, at the time i also have Golden Severum with them.. i notice there are some looking like albino severum frys with my grey severum frys.. how can the 2 brown Severum breed out Golden babies? if they were cross-breed with the Golden Severum, why do i have 2 brown Severum as guarding parents? can activity such this happen inside a community tank?

hey Ryanjury i got some other problem with other fry.. small frys stop eating and have shrink their stomach? what the remedy for the kind of symtoms

i had a batch of frys each from Severum and Jack Dempsey.. was think of raising for feeder :dead%fish i mixed both batch into 1 tank..it seem that the Severum are more dominate over the Jd..the Jd number are decreasing.. any1 try experiment mixing frys..?

was trying to grab the Vieja, its pairing up.. well people tried twice last night with the light turning off.. woke up for a wee, sneek in with my phone torch try to grab the fish.. still couldnt catch them.. :facepalm: all the other cichlids was easy to grab, but the Vieja are just too good to handle! i dont really want to empty most of the tank water just to try to catch fish.. :facepalm: ahh well..

i find that when used speed scope the fish will be harder to catches, its making them more aware of what going on.. :oops:

its the size of the tank that cause the problem i think.. what hat happen is when i drop 2 nets my arms cannot reaches.. :lol: tank size; 1.8x 900x 800

i got 1 big driftwood, last night i used some plastic mesh to block them up..when going for the scope they jump over the @#! mesh.. :an!gry no matter what i tried they manage to find escape :nilly:

Man..I loveee :love: big cichlids :happy1: i usedto like tetra & fighters but i didnt get along well with plants in the tank. so i switched to the bigger cichlids.. right now my collection in comunity tank; packs of Chocolate cichlids (greedy feeder) Packs of B/G Jack Dempsey (great colour fish, but aint that agressive fish with temp@26C :lol: ) Jaguar( beautiful fish, nothing can stand in it way when feeding time :an!gry, it like feeding jaws) Black belt/ Vieja( nice colouration fish, still waiting for that big lump on the head, people do get good return for that fish! some1 was selling it for $60 for average size..I am grabing me some more to put in my tank next week :lol: ) Red Devil..(my is still a sissy! i hear they are real agressive n a comunity tank!.2 weeks now still havnt done any damage :facepalm: ) Midas( Mr & Mrs looked abit agressive, their lip remind me of the Joker, but they do looked like those gold fish with white and orange patches :lol: Red Terror(with 1,000ltr its just keeping cool to it territory ) Good thingsabout cichlids is that you can feed them with many foods, i feed all dead baby fish to them.. :happy2: i saw a guy feeding guppy to his cichlid one time :happy2: to me all big fish are more exciting and have more personality than those tiny fish.. :happy1: What are your thought for for big fish keeping? :nilly:
