Thinking of moving into either an entry level HR role or even as a recruitment consultant. Hey hey, just wanted to share some songs that we used in our wedding recently. My wife walked down the aisle to "Arithmatic" by Brooke Fraser and it was amazing, when we were signing the marriage certificate our friend was singing "I promise you" by Ronald Keating. I believe you might like the latter song especially, look it up on Youtube and find the one with lyrics.

hmmm.... ok.... can you also ask your dad to find out how much it'll cost to bring in guppies from asia? I've been seeing some really nice varieties there that I don't think we'll ever find here. Saw one in my friend's pond that looked as though it had a peacock's feather for a tail. very ncie that one and he doesnt' even know it haha.

talking about bottom feeders... do we have freshwater prawns here in NZ? I saw my friend's aquarium when I was overseas and she had some small prawns in her aquarium that was feeding on the fish food that fell to the bottom. I thought that was a pretty good idea.

lol no... only facing my quarter century crisis while trying to get married at the same time...

Omg i could only remember 2/25 of everything there.... you guys are definitely older than dirt... i remember hearing of those things from my parents and even my grandparents used to tell me of those things... This is gonna be a lil different as I hail from another country, but my mom used to tell me about how they could survive on 20c a day, my grandad still has a RPM(?) player in his house and it WORKS!!! When I was a kid, my grandma would take me to a chinese coffee shop where she would have a coffee with her mates and poured some onto the saucer for me to drink. the coffee isn't the same as those that we get from starbucks nowadays, it's not fancy but it was strong. Basically it was black coffee, no milk or sugar with hot water. I remember the days when putting a person on the phone on hold meant placing the reciever on a box that played music and when mobile phones were basically bricks that were used as weapons to ward off potential thieves. I remembered the day when the first cyber cafe was opened and prior to that we had shops that had video consels that we paid some money in order to play any game we wanted.

Oh gosh, now you've got me all hungry... lol. Make sure u pop by places like The Occidental, De Fontein, and De Post Belgian restaurants for the most heavenly mussles around... otherwise feel free to pay me to cook them for you... LOL

Come on now guys, I'm sure that there's more people who are interested in food as well.. and I'm talking about really good food, the type that fills you up and gives u a warm fuzzy feeling after you've eaten it. I've just started a new blog about food called NZFood blog to blog about the places that I've eaten which I think is worthy to be mentioned. It's only based in Auckland right now though as that's where I live, but if any of you Aucklanders know of good food places, do tell me so I can go try it out myself too. OMG that actually looks like something that came out of a space movie or something... kinda looks aquatic as well >.< wonder what would happen if a giant centipede met one of those. Btw there are carnivorous snails?!?!?!?!? how the heck do they chase down their prey?

If its not tannin then the water prolly needs to set. Have you been cycling the water? Probably would be good to cycle the water with the driftwood in it to prepare it for the fishes?

Hey lyndy, can i get a photo of it as well as the plans for it? am quite interested to see it and collect some plans so i can build one later.

oh boy.... i would actually suggest that you use fishing lines to tie down certain parts of it to rocks that you're gonna put in... otherwise you might even want to try to use mesh over certain parts of the driftwood, weigh it down with rocks and then let moss grow on it? i'm just imagining solutions here, might not work tho so if someone sees any problem with this, you better speak out!!! lol

make 3 tanks, separate your male fishes into those 3 so that there aren't as many fighting fishes in each of them. Depending on how many fishes you have you might even want to go for 6 tanks. let them fight it out and the fittest will survive instead of culling them. ............. ......................... ....................................... jokes... xp
