:roll: I have some guppies atm which im currently treating for fin rot and they looked like your guppy. But its all a work in progress atm (moving the tetras out and getting some more guppies) I would'nt do anything to rash, im thinking it should come right on its own. But just make sure that there is no fin nipping and clean water. But if in doubt just throw it in with the platys and medicate Good luck

It could be fin rot. If it is you need to do some water changes and give them meds from lps.

Heya Every1 - Dylan here or Aquavitamins , What ever. I have started keeping fish! And i seriously underestimated how fun it could be, not to mention ADDICTIVE! I 1st brought a 60L tank + stand, filter, light, heater and air pump from trademe for $101 :bounce: And now i have just 8) upgraded 8) to my new shinny 140L Blue planet Tank from the Animate sale. I am supA happy with the new set-up. I put it into my room so i can gase at it from my bed .. I have a school of 20 neons , a group of 6 Kuhilis & some platys The new tank looks really empty though, but the fish are soo much happier so that good. I wana get some Dwarf Cichlids and more plants for it. Lucky i have keept my animate buy one get one free card :lol: Hope this isnt too random lol . But hey its my 10 cents worth and what soo bad about random ? Cheers, Dylan

Do you think i could get away with out using that metal circle thing ( the one that goes over the hose and silicone nose bit ) I have some of those plastic zip ties lying around. I might try using them ... Have you tried attaching a gravel siphon to the end of the tube ? you could then siphon straight into the garden ! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mmk. I had an idea about changing the water faster. I think ill just A hose from miter 10 and run it from my tank though the house into the garden. Then plug it into the wash house tap ( which can run hot water) to fill it back up . :lol: Have you tired those tap connector things on trademe? Thry pretty much do exactly what my hose would do ...
