    How much water should i change a week for my 140L? I was doing 50% w/c on my old 60L, but the amount of water in the new tank that would need to be change if it was at 50% would be 70L ! that alot of bucket trips!!!! :roll: So because its a larger tank does that mean less water needs to be changed?     Heya, I've just brought a new tank at the Aqua fun day ;P :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: The only thing is the lights watts per gallon works out to be around 1.5 What plants could i put in there?

    Ohh nice ! that looks great. Im buying this tank off trademe, and i was wondering what i could do to neaten it up. ( cas of the messy silicone) I love what you have done to it. I think i might get some wood with a carving in it and paint it to give a French kind off look. 8)

    Opps, caused a bit of a stir hahaha :roll: :lol: :lol: But I did had a good look at the tanks and im not being stupid 8) unfortunately i didnt write down the prices at the time But i remember my thoughts about getting a great deal, spending under $500 for this one tank in particular. I go back today, a week before the "sale" and the tank is $899 ..... :-? I dont know, Laws, rules etc ... Just talking here

    The bulbs are new, its one of those all in one kits from Animates.

    I got the flyer in the post today. Its not all tanks at 50-60% off. I actually visited Animates a few days after you posted that, and the prices on the tanks have all gone up since that visit. Im sure the 180L that i wanted was $599 before the discount. And today i saw that it is now $899 and will be on sale for $699! So animates are increasing the prices so that "hot Deals" arnt that great Damn!!! i was so excited too :evil:

    Heya, My brothers tank has a few plants in it that are not growing. Im pretty sure its because their not getting enough light, I'm thinking this because the same plants are thriving in my tank with 30Watts of light. So what plants should i recommend he gets for with tank? Like ones that require low lighting conditions. Cheers

    Yea if you could get all the bits together it would look great! Imagine the ways you could implement this into your aquariums. I reckon an amazon temple with sand falling down each of the staircases set up in the middle of my tank would look pretty cool

    Your tank looks lovely!! Good job!! Try Some Drift wood to cover you filter intake, It can look really cool if you attach some Java moss to it as well Good Luck

    Good idea, have you thought about Dwarf Cichlids? I don't know much about them but im upgrading my tank and putting some in, have a look at my post, viewtopic.php?f=4&t=39779 Good Luck

    Ok i have been googling those names you gave me ( very nice, i loved all of them !! ) and i also google Dwarf Cichlids and here are some that i liked: - Cockatoo Dwarf - Blue Apisto - Bolivian Butterfly - Golden Dwarf Can you get these in Wellington ? Also would they be good options for my tank ?? What do you think ? Cheers
