    K guys, thanks so much for all the help, I have take the fish back, ( they all died ) and my brother got some Mollys. I took a sample of water to the shop, and they tested it, and they said the water was fine. Also the tank has been cycled and has had 5 guppys in it for about 2 weeks. They are all fine. But the tetras..

    He did a 50% WC 2 days ago, and we have no way of testing the water. But he did have a carbon filter media in his HOB, which has been running in there for about 5 weeks. So i have just removed it, leaving just the foam stuff.

    Ok so heres the thing, Yesterday (in my brothers tank) His Golden Algae eater DIED It was covered in yellow and red spotty lumps) And now he has a Glow light tetra twitching upside down... X2 The tetra isn't floating at the surface but half way down in the tank. Please help, my brother is very upset.

    Yay water changes! I acually enjoy it. But 2 days ago i did a 50% WC so i guess i would need to wait awhile before the next one, Right?

    Hey, I have just re,re-done my tank ( again ) and i have added a really cool piece of driftwood, But it takes up 40% of the tank. I was wondering if having this large bit of wood might kill my neons, because it drops the PH. I also heard that neons will die if the PH suddenly changes, but if the change is more gradual they will be fine. Does anyone know if the wood will slowly drop the PH or quickly ..??

    I was wondering,.... What the cost difference would be when setting up say a 200L, if you were to either buy a complete set up from the store, or to use this site, trade me etc, and home projects to 'do it yourself'. How much do you think you could do it for? And how would you do it? ( if DIY )

    PMDD = What? Ill buy the Flourish Excel today, and the lighting? 6500k you say,, k I think ill need to buy a new fitting thingy though. Would you buy that at mire 10 or bunnings? or at the pet shop?? (sorry im clueless) Under $50 SAWEET!!

    My light... It says this on the sticker; model T4 - S24 50Hz-240V 1 x 24Watts The plants are all growing fine atm. But im just impatient. If i were to also buy a ferteliser what brand? Im going to Hutt Pets 2day so id like to have a few things cleared up, Thanks.
