Took my bicycle in to get a flat tyre fixed, lost the right tools to do it. Turns out it's all a bit loose and the break pads are gone so now it's in for a service. Haven't ridden it in years and this video doesn't help :sml1:

Just bought 12 neons, 2 female guppies and 1 import male guppy to liven up the big tank a bit because all the platy fry are really small still. Floating them now but I really need to get rid of all that duckweed

For many people not only have they had something of monetary value stolen, but also the time and effort they put into sourcing, keeping, raising and breeding the fish which are more often than not, very rare. Fish thieves, like all other thieves, are rats.

Yeah right, teachers don't wanna get their hands dirty or spend their time dealing with the bullies, dragging a teacher into it rarely solves it anyways. Just tough it out Joe, the higher up the education system you get, the more they drop off. Just keep doing what makes you happy and follow that as a career. I try to spend as little time at school as possible and as much time at home or work, easier in year 13 though of course.

I came across the sheep's wool example, although it costs several times more than traditional insulation, the only downside to it is the price which would come down as more people use it. It's a natural flame retardant, the fibres are too large to pose a health threat so it can be installed without protective gear, it's renewable and biodegradable. Going cheap is the reason this planet is such a mess.

Research eco friendly building materials, methods and just general sustainability for a graphics project. Can't comprehend why someone would choose not to build this way? Aside from a little extra cost, which pays for itself, there's no reason not to!

Why would you go through all the hassle of importing a plant we have readily available here in NZ? Most of the images they use are stock photos so the plants are likely the same quality you could get here. Can you get it shipped here for less than $4 (the cheapest Java Fern on Trademe at the moment)?

IMO this is getting far too much attention. It's not an issue affecting the nation as a whole, just the Guy and MacDonald families really. Yes someone was killed and yes it's a mystery but I think daily updates on it are far too frequent for such a small case.

The light is too low in your room so the shutter stays open longer to allow more light in and get a photo that isn't pitch black. Either increase the light, use the flash or keep the camera really still.

I saw the doco on that, amazing work they've done over the last few years. Apparently up to 1/3 of all sand on any given beach is plastic
