Why not get a Sun sun canister with lily pipes to reduce the current, would provide excellent filtration and much needed volume in a nano tank. Or this if you don't want so much flow. IME DIY canisters are hard to construct and seal, usually failing quickly. Buying one is better.

Strange, all of mine have been in plain sight near the surface since day 1 and the only hassle they've got is when they try to scab food off larger fish and even then it's just a wee chase.

Forget the fighter too, he'll be hard pressed for food and safety with that stocking list.

Counted at least 19 platy fry and most of the 19 guppy fry appear to be alive. If they all make it to adulthood my tank is going to be BUMPIN! Anyone else have fry stories? Bonus points for livebearers 8)

It's puzzling though as it's one fish at a time so I have a feeling it's some sort of disease in the tank but it has no symptoms until a fish is gasping and on death's door. What else do I need to test for exactly?

Really? I've heard only good things about Sunsun filters. I have the HW-302 running on my 200L tank and it does well, really easy to use and it primes well.

I don't have those tests and I thought water quality would effect all fish equally not one at a time?

Just tested my water, it's perfect. pH of 7.0, 0 ammonia or nitrites. This mystery disease keeps killing neons and platies! :-?

Sorted, songs on a flash drive and I'll go for a drive and jam tomorrow :lol: JB HI-FI claimed to have 6" speakers for sale but when I checked their boxes, they were all 6.5" speakers. Does anyone know where to get some 6" speakers? All the other sites claim the same models JB has are 6" too :-?

Okay the old one is out! Heaps of little clips and the centre of the dash is hanging off Now I have to install the new one, the old wiring matches the new one so I just have to change the plug really. Should be easy but I really don't want to mess it up so I'm labelling all the wires.

Every article I've read and every video I've watched tells me to disconnect the battery. No, first time and I was supposed to have a mate over to do it but he's at work. Now I'm having trouble removing the old head unit from the cage.

The WD-40 fixed it after a while so I just wiggled it off. To disconnect the battery so I can safely install the head unit yeah?

Hey guys, Just bought new head unit for my car, 1994 Lancer, and popped the bonnet to find the negative battery terminal is rusted so badly it won't even move let alone be removed. Has anyone had any experience removing such a thing? I've WD-40'd it, tapped it, tried vice grips, etc but no luck! Thanks
