Now don't confuse cool and popular. Popular kids are super fake usually, cool is more subjective, not everyone appears cool to everyone else.

Sophia's right Joe. I used to stand relatively alone at school (literally, I leant against a wall), simply because I didn't get along with the people my actual friends hung out with. Eventually my true friends came back and hung with me, but being a loner doesn't mean you can't be awesome. Being an indifferent lone wolf is pretty cool actually but you're just going to have to wait it out on the whole friends thing. At your age, friends are very dynamic, one group is unlikely to remain unchanged for more than a couple of months as relationships rise and fall. You'll find a group you get along with, just be patient.

The more social school gets, the better it is really. Just make a few more (or a few less, better quality) friends Joe and things will turn around :thup:

Yeah good idea. One cool thing I've seen done (and I know you don't like hairgrass) is a large field of hairgrass, but I guess it could be any low/med ground plant, with Java Ferns or Swords coming out from it. Roots and base hidden in the ground cover but it looks wicked.

Yeah, just what I'd do given my experience with such plants and how I've seen them in other people's tanks. Not sure what kind of look you're going for either, that international ADA look or a more local home-grown feel. I feel this scape is wasted with too many stems, defeats the purpose of the mound in the middle a bit.

I'd do a glosso/hairgrass foreground with longer hairgrass (if you can source it) at the back. Perhaps a mad bunch of Rotala rotundifolia in the back right corner even.

I really hope this tank works and lasts, has great potential

Would be good in a 60x30 but this feature dominates 3/4 of the tank, it's too big for the tank IMO.
