  1. If it's about the money, could a hobbyist cover all the costs and pay for 100% of the fish and fees?
  2. They're disposable cartridges, refills are here. Hope this clears things up...
  3. Sweet, they arrived safely then

    Hello all

How far would it be from where you are? 30mins? So long as you package the fish right, 30mins is nothing. People ship fish all over the country, often taking hours or a whole day. If you want to be sure, just keep the fish in a dark, insulated container. Personally, my fish sleep when it's dark  Just feed them when the lights are on, if you forget it's not a big deal. Fish can go for two weeks without food. HTH

I hope everyone gives you as much of a warm welcome as L.A did Welcome!

That's really good of both HFF and Bird Barn
  9. My angels only bother each other, never my bronze cories or BN. HTH.
  10. Gotta love a mod who laughs at himself
  11. No tropical shrimp as such although there has been success acclimatizing native shrimp up to 24C. HTH

Why must you be so far away?! Do us proud
  14. I got my pair a while back, they've passed now but they were just the normal variety I think from HFF? Does it matter what species they are or is it just for looks?
  15. These all seem like very strange questions. Some of them can have different answers based on different factors. These questions need more detail and/or a less close answer required. If that makes sense?
  16. My 1200x400x400 is in 6mm. Could be 6 or 8?
  17. Congrats! Variety is key when feeding any fish

    Progress

    Glass cats or Bettas?
  19. Belly sliders are quite obviously deformed. I had Betta fry that skimmed along the bottom looking for food, these were not belly sliders. If you're not sure then just leave them until they're older and you're quite sure whether or not they're deformed. HTH
  20. Culling is best for most deformed fish. Belly sliders do not recover, make room for the healthy fish.
