No real point I see, better to have the all running individually. More directions of flow in the tank, less complications. Just move some of the media from the old filter into the new filters and it'll be fine. HTH

It depends what wattage heater you use, same with the light. Easy to work out light usage if it's on for a certain time, heater is a bit more difficult as it's not always on for a set amount of time.

I have issues with the HOB in my room when the water level drops but so long as it's no more than 10mm below the lip of the filter, it's pretty quiet
