  1. Thanks Adrienne! I've just done one with hair grass and DIY clay balls. I know right!
  2. viewtopic.php?f=41&t=49199 There's a video of my two new shrimp. Not sure about CO2, the natives need high levels of oxygen apparently. HTH.
  3. If only all of us could be as knowledgeable as you Rabbit -.-
  4. Please check your Private Message at the top left of your page 8)
  5. Wow That super sucks man Lucky no one was hurt and no fish were lost though!
  6. I second that. $40 for a new 60x30x30 tank made, means you can have a few fish. Cheap filters are no more than $20, 55W heater no more than $30. I can help with a few plants if you want, but then you'll need to get a light. May also be able to help with some guppies if you decide to get a heater. HTH
  7. Cryptocoryne balansae? I'm probably wrong
  8. Welcome Renee, another local I see
  9. Just found this thread but responded in another you posted in. Firstly, welcome to FNZAS. I second what Josh said about getting a Siamese Fighter. All you'll need is a heater and you can keep one. Fighters do not require a large tank like minnows might, minnows need space to swim whereas fighters are a bit lazier. HTH.
  10. Get a small (25w) heater and put a single Siamese Fighter in there
  11. There's my two new ones. Anyone else have any photos or videos they'd like to share?
  12. I now have two living at 24 degrees with adult guppies, they are very lively and like to hang out on the moss.
  13. Nah, they get used to each other before it does any harm 8)
  14. I hope "Betta Vases" never make their way to NZ, it's great we don't have them here really.
  15. None for sale though right?
  16. Hot damn Those are some mighty pretty fish you got there. Personal favourite being number two,, number four is a close second!
  17. I think the higher quality headphones are going to be more than $100, likely $400+. But if you're just looking for something under $100 then Skullcandys can do the job, try to stick away from anything unbranded. I just have some Philips wireless infrared headphones, they do the job and were only $40. Should be some bargains closer to Xmas I'd imagine.
