  1. I'm getting sick of his videos playing on C4 all day long.
  2. Update: some of the fry a few days ago.
  3. do you have driftwood in the tank as this turns the water brown'sh green. :-?
  4. sand from LFS, get a dark sand or gravel as it will make the discuss colours stand out more.
  5. I have also asked about the goldfish and the power filter in the top tank as it does not say they are included, also I guess the other heater must not be in use as the 3rd tank is coldwater. I will be looking to sell some of the fish if I win the auction as I don't need then all.
  6. they can't add a buy now as bidding has started. :-?
  7. I have the leading bid but it has not met reserve but I will not tell you my bidding plan, some other HB people might be watching
  8. Do you think this would be a good buy ... http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=226092781 ( I didn't think you could have TM links but then I read this http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=39585)
  9. the water is more like 20cm high, so the filter & heater can fit.
  10. Update:all is going well , I am feeding them microworms brine shrimp and some fry food gel. but the bottom of the tank is getting filthy with fish waste  how can I clean it!!
  11. yes its a nest, Nest + Male + Female = Babys
  12. I have some dry fry food and some microworms are on there way from TM. some are still eating whats left of their eggs so I hope they will be fine until the microworms arrive.
  13. thanks, they are now in their new tank all happy and swimming.
  14. Update: thanks all, I will give it a go. I think they will be free swimming very soon as the are getting very active and the fry the has 90% of their old water. I did have the adults tank at 27-28'c to help them breed should I keep the fry tank that warm (I will have it the same to start with)
  15. Update: I have now set-up the small tank ready for the fry, how/what is the best way to move the fry. (after they are free swimming)
  16. hi, plants look good. with the number of plants in there you might not need co2 as my 90L is full of plants that will not stop growing and there is no co2, just good light. :-?
  17. so it looks like this tank is got a good use, but soon there will be 1 more as my little frog is ready for an upgrade. :bounce:
  18. Update: today there are still a lot of fry clinging to the helmet in the tank, I would say about 50 or so. all looking happy and the mum and dad are looking after them 24/7. I plan on moving the fry to a bare bottom tank with a sponge filter when they are free swimming (so they can find their food better). I will add some pic's soon.
  19. green water? dad is marble mum is white at the base going in to yellow at the top.
