Another survey is to be conducted shortly, but it would appear that even if some where found there will be little ability for re-establishment without intervention. This is just one of many species, lions are sitting at only 250 males of breed-able age remaining in the wild. -

My understanding of a ceramic is that it is a wire set in the ceramic so as to radiate where a light bulb is relatively delicate when it comes to the filament. But i guess although not as quickly it would still lead to premature failure.

Yup but you have to get it wired by a sparky best to use a thermostat IMHO.

Mine get dry every now and then, females appear to shed more than males. I soak any toe's that appear un-shed, generally they look after themselves. Resist pulling it off yourself, it can lead to open wounds that require close attention (first hand experience).

lol You're enclosure is so similar to mine, exact same tiles as well, only i have the tile under the turf. Polyurethaned MDF and all.

Id be going with under weight on that one, i wouldn't be surprised if it had the beginnings of MBD. Stunning animal though.

its a gold spot (Pterygoplichthys joselimaianus) , the "red spot" has black spots, with a gold background (Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps)
