    Howdy

Most Sharks need a round tank and lots of flow, they need to keep moving or keep water going over their gills or they die. Unless you mean something like a Carpet Shark. You would need a huge tank either way. Lucid
  2. As far as we know they are doing ok, very busy but ok. Waiting to hear back from them but trying not to push them as I know for a fact that they are still rushed off their feet, and will get back to us as soon as they can! They need a Holiday! Still writing letters and sorting some stuff out to help. Starting up some Auctions etc as others are. NetDeal seems good so far, just hope we are understanding it as its very different from Trademe. Lucid
  3. Okies, Mystic's hoping she has done this right: (first time so yeah) Just trying the site out and hoping the Auction might help also. Netdeal: Mystic Vampyre - http://www.netdeal.co.nz/detail.asp?id=435 EDIT: Added to List.
  4. Thank you Aqua, have added it to the list. Anyone has anything to add, just pm or email Mystic ([email protected]) and I can add it to the list. Lucid

Will add more to the list once more goes up. Anyone has anything to add, just pm or email Mystic ([email protected]) and I can add it to the list. Thanks all for your kind donations! Lucid & Mystic, and Living Art and all the Animals at the Park.
  6. (IMO) its best to buy a proper chiller, as those DIY ones are too easy to get wrong, or too hard to get the right amount of 'coil' to how cold you want your tank. If it fails for whatever reason - everything will proberly die overnight. Lucid
  7. Very nice of you Ant. I would but you too far away. Understandable Dixon, no problems. We all have many things to pay for - like us (Baby, 11 year old, Cats, Fish, Tanks, Car-s, Hospital, Doc's, Birthdays etc) but we all find a way to donate something, even $10 or something to Auction. We are hoping to list some stuff over the weekend to Auction, have to go through some stuff first. Lucid
  8. Cheers Warren. Imsweet Auction - http://www.trademe.co.nz/Home-living/Pets-animals/Dogs/Collars-leads/auction-171314062.htm (Mystic wants to know if you will make her a collar too.) Lucid
  9. Not too sure aye, still reading up and waiting for some emails to come back at the moment. Lucid
  10. Great going guys! So happy this is getting somewhere! Mystic already started a Thread on TM also: Lots of responses! http://www.trademe.co.nz/Community/MessageBoard/Messages.aspx?id=28650891&p=1&c=1 Lucid
  11. Heya First word - CHILLER! Thats one main key to your critters staying alive! Temp proberly around 14 degrees. Mystics happy to help (has more time than me to explain stuff etc) so email her if you want. Need to know your plans for the tank and what you want to keep before we can help really. Lucid
  12. Hows about each Fish Club does a Fund-raising BBQ for the Park? Would that be possible? Maybe a raffle on here? I see Charlie (great guy!) has offered to Auction a tank or 2? Thats a great idea! (Anyone have a problem with this?) .... good! No one! Maybe we could add something to the tank to raise the value? Maybe we can do this with other stuff too? (Anyone have a problem with this?) .... good! No one! Lucid
  13. Now to get to work to save the park! What can we do? Fundraising? Raffles? Something? Donations? Go people go! Now Mystic can sleep tonight, she not sleeping very well if any at all, shes not well actually, not at all. So hopefully tonight she will sleep now she knows there is a chance! Thank you all that have helped. Mark & Caroline - go sleep, and sleep well - you both deserve it!
  14. Almost wasnt the word, Mystic is in total tears right now, she said it was one of the most heart-touching things she has seen in a long time. She wishes she was there to give you both big hugs! (anyone would have thought it was her park with the way its affected her so deeply) But she says she feels for good friends like Mark, and especially to people that try so hard for animals. Just the look in both your guys eyes made her sob like nothing else. She could see all the love you both have in your big hearts. Hopefully now there might be a bit more help and some more lenient people! Hoping all goes well for you both Mark & Caroline, and Mystic and I (and the boys) will be thinking of you all day tomorrow. Karma hopefully will be there to help these wonderful people and such a wonderful park. (Remember we are still here to help as much as possible!) All the best, Lucid, Mystic, Boys and Fishies.
  15. Drove over the Rimatukas last night early this morning and the top quarter on either side the road was covered in snow, so totally unprepared we stopped at the top so the "Kids" could have a play in the small layer of sludgy snow on the ground. Quite heavy snow fall at times as we were driving over and the road was closed this morning, so guess we got through at the right time.
  16. Make that 6 things Jude  As If i am not mistaken the opening ceremony did not come in a shell, ready for people to sit on
  17. Yes thats what Mark said earlier. Glad to see the support here too. B
  18. So good to see so much help here now, times like these you need good friends. Im glad I put up the post. B
  19. Thats fantastic to hear! I hope this Thread has been worth something then at the end of the day. B
  20. Every bit of help is going to help people. Im surprised that there hasnt been more offers to help? Even just a small amount of money, a small amount of food, offers to help at the Park? Wish we were there to help! Must be SOMETHING that can be done! We have big fish and tanks, and M has owned many many Reptiles and different and common animals so we can try to help there, or anywhere for that fact! Its worth every bit of heart put into it! Whether it be long term or short, we want to help anyway we can. B
  21. We are always here for you Mark, no matter what happens. Let us know what we can do to help ok? B
