Today when i was netting out some azolla from one pond to my main pond, I saw this thing.. unfortunately i was to grossed out by it to take a photo ... it was about an inch long and 1/2cm wide, clear like a see through color and had lots of leg things, looked very much like a see through slug. Anyone have any idea what this thing could be? wish i took a photo now.

HAHA yea she is a small elephant now, we take her into animates every now and then for socializing .. sure you can come play with them and get slobbered all over :sml1:

Haha yea they stay out, had no one go in yet .. but they do use it for the drinking fountain LOL!!

Hi all, i haven't posted here for quite sometime, but thought i'd share afew pictures of our pond, the plants are finally starting to "grow into" the pond and giving shade so we aren't having as much issues with the greenness of the water. Found my first new baby from this years spawning today YAH!! happy some have survived. The pond is still very much "work in progress" we have still yet to finish off the filter box / waterwall / plantbox ... that will go on the back ledge by the fence recent pic's taken afew weeks ago waterlily flowers only seem to flower 2/3 days, shame they are so pretty but I am having alot of buds had at least 8 flowers now with still more to open in this pic you can see the planter box starting to take shape .. slow process though

You could try putting a cover like wire mesh (chicken netting) over the pond to keep cats/birds etc out.

Have you looked on trademe? thats where I got my last lot from quite some time ago though, brilliant stuff to use edit*** No i don't think you can get in the supermarket

Would anyone know where I could get the brush/fur draught stopper that you'd put around windows/doors .. need it only at 5mm to 10mm (5mm better) we have tried most places in palmy and I've tried looking on trademe, but no luck .. it has me completely stumped where we'd get it from. We don't want the rubber strip that you can get anywhere it has to be the brush type. Thanks.

Haha umm no, it would be to hard to restock the tanks to how we had them .. they are all going. I was alittle shocked seeing how big they were in the container, they didn't look that big in the tank. Glad you brought 3 different sizes with you, hate to imagine them in the smaller container LOL!!

She is still looking for a male mouse, she has a female already but needs a male ... (for breeding purposes i shall not go into :sick: .. she got her female from wetpets, but they have no more left, animates here do have them, but she walked out of the store when she was told she HAD to fill in adoption papers for it ... so i thought i'd just see if anyone had any or knew of anyone who had any. My AT gets fed hikari gold, JBL novosticks - he goes mad for tetra cichlid Jumbo sticks. You can also try finely cubed or grated ox heart and also earth worms. I'd go easy on the ox though i usually only fed my AT it once or twice a week.

when we moved we left all gravel & plants in the tank also alittle water just covering gravel (tank is 200+ litres) is do-able with a couple of strong guys.

I would go with 'overnight' courier simply because i wouldn't want any live animal being in transit for that amount of time. It would properly be ok but would you want to risk it?

50+ group of cardinals would be very nice. Your Boy is doing really well too by the way - he has settled the tank down alot my bully has calmed abit :happy1:
