cheapest filter media I have seen is the AquaOne brand. Seems to work ok for me

See... It is much safer to keep fish.. NOT dogs :lol: Last meeting went well. This months meeting should be good too. I will be laminating membership cards this month as well. so for those who wish to join the AFKA should attend this months meeting Date: Tuesday 10 April 2007 Time: 7.30pm

cut the cracked bottom off and replace it with a new piece of glass

put the tank that has the crack in the bathtub. That way you won't have any problems with water going everywhere :lol:

I must be more impatient that you spiders web. All I do is move existing filter to new tank 1/2 Fill with tap water and the rest from and existing tank Chuck fish in. Done :roll: to date no new deaths seems to work ok.. had a convict tank up and spawning in 1 week.

I just chuck in the flake.. they eventually eat it all just grind it between your fingers when you put it in the tank.
