no.....haha they're normal shaped Discus that's white in colour with faint blue lines around their face and the edge or their fins are darkened

Oh man I saw amazing photos of White Butterflys and now I'm obssessed with getting one...I must say everytime I look at an International website about Discus I cry 'cos we don't get that many strains here....

I have 3 plants (no idea which species) and the top leaves are ALL brown I thought it was because they're dying but their lower leaves are dark green still and what's even more weird is that there's heaps of little crypt plantlets growing up around them. I want the leaves to go back to being green...don't know why they're not doing that well in my tank. Do these plants propagate by runners?

hey Freakz NZ - will give that technique a try when I get home from Uni today seeing as we've got heaps of dandelion heads on our lawn. Just wanting to know - do peoples' beardys lose appetite everytime they peel?

I also raised Ram fry away from parents, mine got big from green water and eating snail eggs/goo (as well as decap and micro's when they got bigger)

the plants were in great condition - got home and Mum had already opened it she was curious as to why a flat envelope was dripping water LMAO! Tank a bit over-run by plants atm, will take a photo once I've got rid of my Indian Fern and Crypts

Hey Cam, I see that my girl you got off me has her breeding tube out again - usually a sign that she'll lay in 1-2days. Told you I had trouble keeping up with her spawning all the time! By the way your set up looks awesome. Keep us posted

Hey Phoenix - received and planted the dwarf Val today, looks good already and now I'm just going to wait for them to grow and I'll pull up all my Indian Ferns and crypts to allow a partial lawn effect.

Get flourish Excell and directly squirt some over the plant with Black Beard Algae, it should die shortly. Or try biological control with Siamese Algae Eaters - they do a great job!

wow 6hrs?? I'm a bit wary about leaving elements on while I'm out not my house to burn down. Will a pressure cooker be faster in making soup? Zev - you think that's bad? When Dave was in primary school his Nana used to blend up boiled veges and made him drink it

haven't tried clover 'cos we haven't got any on our lawn but have tried dandelions and he didn't take to them? can't figure out why he's so resistant to veges and flowers

I think I have one of these - big and thick pots with a vaccum seal?? How long on average would you have to leave the meat on for to become tender?

Hey Stella - we went on tinned Tuna and Salmon for a few weeks before oh man it took me ages before I could even look at a tin again in the supermarket lol I love pasta too, quick and easy and mince is always cheap, all my mates in Dunedin hate mince 'cos that's all they live off down there lol

you add yoghurt??? I've never thought about making the sauce from scratch but I guess that Chicken Tonight sauce is horrible

haha it made me want to gag! Just curious - does anyone else add liver into their heart meat?? Does the water get dirty easily?
