  1. pirate bay *cough * i to the pirate bay its not even illegal
  2. women yes... mmmmmmmmmmmmm......... but that car will top the women. and i hope none of them will be standing in my way obstructing the view. I shall ask them to scoot over infact. either that or ill ask them what it feels like to be in the presence of sheer man made genius. tomorrow it is!
  3. yeah i know! can you imagine that? 4.7 L twin supercharged!!!!!!!!!!! 1018BHP and it weighs less than a mini cooper!
  4. crate train. not needed for farm dogs at all. just teach them to go poo and wee in the 1/4 acres you have, lol. crate training is great for house dogs and apatrment dogs. teaches them to do their business outside the house. if you do crate train them remember to keep the pup in the crate for 10 minutes after pooing or weeing. lol. generally with training, any thing less than 7 minutes is short term memory and over that long term. so more than 10 mins will take less time to teach. if done right crate training should not take more than 2 - 3 days at most. and i think you will find - if your dog is the father - he will bully the pup but will more or less get on fine. please let him do that within reason - he is establishing dominance. do not ignore or give too much attention to the pup in front of your older dog.
  5. YOUR bedroom would be a good place. that is presuming he does not sleep on the bed, lol
  6. Neutral means - not in a place your current dog calls its own. like in hiis kennel for instance. bad move
  7. feed your plecs lots of courgette and cucumber. that should solve the problem. ive had all sorts of plecs in my heavily planted tank with no problems at all. i think its cause of the cucumber and courgette, lol... i do get them younger on most occassions though.
  8. depends on what you want him/her trained for. pm me if you want advice on specific areas of training.... potty training is easy enough.... depends on if you are in a house or a rural property with (a presumably) massive back yard. what sort of dog is it? what is the other dog? large dogs - particularly labs and similar are prone to hip dysplasia. little little dogs are prone to low blood sugar.... any and all dogs however are intelligent and can be trained to do almost any thing. I have two harlequin great danes (guard dogs) who are trained for verbal and non-verbal commands. and do everything from sitting to going to the left and right to forming guard stances etc....they even have an attack command that can only be executed by one of the family. you can teach them not to accept food from strangers etc.... you'll need to tell us the breed though. oh and with that lead - get a short lead - the ppl at your local pet shop should know what it is (hopefully lol). hope this helps. :bounce:
  9. Any one going? I've driven back up to Auckland mainly for this. The Koenigsegg ccx is on display - its my 2nd favourite car (no 1 being the Koenigsegg CCXR).

    BN wrigglers

are all of those spp's found in the same habitats and regions as each other?

    BN wrigglers

i honestly think that ppl should be less concerned about breeding goldens and normal bn's. Increasing genetic variation in a species isn't a bad thing and never has been - of course releasing those offspring into wild populations would be irresponsible. we breed fish like discus for desired traits all the time by selective line breeding... what if this was another one of those selected traits? I know there are a lot of ppl against crossbreeding etc - but it's far too late now to stop- man has already altered the genes / traits off too many species. and we cant be selectively for or against crossbreeding! that's unfair isn't it?
  12. the reasonable time frame things also depends on how much you sent on the tank in the first place.
  13. definitely try the lfs.. i know i give away poly boxes to people when they need them. (tend to be a bit large though).

    CO2

never put soda stream in a tank! ive done it as an experiment. the pH will change drastically and so suddenly that it kills the fish. i have photo evidence of the damage it can do as well (somewhere)... make no mistake about it - CO2 changes the pH - forms carbonic acid.... lowers the pH far too much. CO2(l) + H20(g) <-> H2CO3 (l) [in equilibrium]
  15. international finance - NZ's hardest finance paper. Very interesting though. reduces people to tears, lol.
  16. I also use word patterns.... and short forms. for example i had to remember that Strong evidence existed that Traded goods trade at similar prices across countries for the Relative PPP theorem.. (exact opposite for the aPPP thm). so PQRST meant that the letters P, R, S, T stood for all i needed to kno (minus the letter Q but that just came with the series)... make sense to any one? lol
  17. it does. just need a mirror or another fighter there. you do realise that they made a mistake selling that fish - they charged you for a normal fighter and not halfmoon, only realised it later on I should actually have someone put up a tag for the halfmoons. will get on it tomorrow actually, lol.
  18. naah all good. he would have just been or done something silly in my tank. there are still 4 or 5 more halfmoons there.
  19. i just use a LOT of colours for my notes. never highlight stuff. then i remember the colour i write stuff in and its position on the page, and presto i remember exactly what was written. when i study just before the exam, i highlight the other important stuff and then i can learn that too. its weird how the human brain works, in the exams i just close my eyes and start writing on a rough piece of paper, and everysingle important point gets noted down. i can visualise the entire piece of paper and all my notes, and lecture slides etc because of the colours that they are written in.
  20. No, I don't have one lol... all my female fighters have committed suicide by jumping out of my tank and the one nice male does not like blowing bubble nests for females. the other nice fighter has fallen in love with my apisto "steel blue" and blows nests for HIM. *sigh* we live in a strange strange world. PS- you stole my fighter, lol.. i had it ordered in for me :-?
  21. there are female HM's in NZ.. just depends who you know and how nicely you ask, lol...
  22. it dropped off OUCH! are you sure "it" wasn't just poop?
  23. naah they are just being demented cl's... its all good let them do what they want.... you'll be surprised what they find amusing. I have one clown loach that likes my BGK - he sleeps with it and doesnt mingle with the 8 other clowns - even swims and eats with the ghost! lol
