sometimes i order plants and then ship them to who ever wants them. works out a bit more expensive cause you are still paying retail as I have to buy it and then you have to pay for shipping too. least it helps some people.

remember not to be paranoid about it.. lol. you may want to clip said bird's wings to make sure he doesn't sit on a tree like rusty. cause some birds refuse to fly down back to the ground and demand to be picked up from the tallest trees they can find :evil: :lol:

the aquafun day just got over last month. it ran for 2 days over the weekend. pet fun day is for the other animals.

if you burn the teflon you can kill birds. rust sits on my shoulder as i cook. he is alive and well. if i lef the pot on the stove and walked away with him in the kitchen he would be dead, as the fumes would kill him.

that was a very mean thing of them to have said. were those their exact words? post a pic of your tank. how big is it and how many fish are we talking? my tank is thoroughly over stocked, but i want it that way as i have more than ample filtration for it.

trademe has some really nice ones pop up from time to time. Also, lots goes for sale here. Lots goes for free as well on here as there is a unwritten rule to pass on plants that were not paid for in the first place - especially the not so common / unusual ones. -
yes. but crossing a gold with a rotikel will produce gold X rotikel hybrids, and not pure rotikels. doesn't matter if they look like rotikels (which apparently they don't as they get older). the gene coding for colours in this case seems to co-express; i.e. both colours are coded for and phenotypically expressed.

omg. poor bud! he is so lille in comparison to the fat cat! Mark, does that mean you are offering to give me your birds permanently?

that's cause he wants attention. get him new toys and rotate them around. new colours, textures shapes. let him sit on your shoulder for however long (as long as you trust him to stay there). then when he is tired enough let him go back to his cage and he should be sweet. also what are you feeding him?
