it is more likely than not a protein film. try mopping up as much as you can with a paper towel, and to get rid of it increase the surface agitation.

I dont know if this helps. but depending on the size of the "item" - if you can get it to palmy if someone is driving up - then i can take it to the next fish meeting here, and then you can ask someone from wanganui to take it there? (does that make the smallest amount of sense? :lol: ) -
sponges? try spotlight. they also have massive roles of filter wool.

they come in 100, 200 and 300 watts. I think they start at like $100 and are up to $130 or so.
