oh my god.. that's horrible, and difficult to read... Im so sorry to hear that I hope you guys are ok; it cannot be easy to come to terms with. I do hope Grant is doing as well as is possible under the given circumstances. I can't imagine what you guys are going through.

Just some pics I took today of one of my L002's. Not the 'prettiest' of fancy plecos, but those that know of its rarity/uncommonness will appreciate it Now if only I could get decent pics of the L168.... but then I'd have to buy more plecos to take pics of

Its been tried... she just spends all day and night attacking the other angel through the mesh / glass. its like she has a spastic fit - she twitches and goes completely mental.

They didn't find their way home. Finally the just went inside their shell, and i found them this morning. Popped them back into the bucket for now... Wish I had a proper tank for them too.

looks like a boy, but this one is the female. the other one used to fertilise the eggs she laid. maybe she has higher than normal levels of testosterone... i wouldn't be surprised really...

I feed my fish, 6 maybe 7 times a day sometimes more... 7 days a week

For those of you that don't already know. ages ago I had a dutch jungle like tank with angels, plecos, apistos and catfish. I had these 2 angels that were totally in love with each other and were inseparable. Any how, all the fish got on fine, until the great tank disaster of 2008 Ithink it was, and some weird disease wiped out most of the fish within 24 hours or so. This angel fish's husband died. and then she went mental. Like totally mental. think bridezilla to the max. she killed all the other angels in the tank. she ripped their eyes out, fins, scales, stomachs... and then attacked me when i went to remove the bodies. I removed her from the tank and put her in another tank with bigger angels, and the next day - she killed them all too. she grew heaps after that, and I kept her with some africans for a while then put her in a 2x2x2ft tank for the best of a year. finally when i pulled that tank down, i put her at animates palmy, with the discus cause she acted as a dither fish and they liked hanging around her. in the mean while, I tried giving her away to a good home, and no one wanted her. so she just stayed with the discus at animates. Now, finally, she is back home! she won't harm even the smallest of fish - neons, baby fish etc... but put an angel in there....and its dead. :-? That's why her name is K.O. It stands for Knock Out, cause she will knock out any other angel fish. she even gets angry at her own reflection. I'm so happy she is back home she eats entire sticks of hikari aro pellets in a single go, and then comes back for more.

yes that is them. only these are not the blind "cave" variety, but the normal type. I hope you don't take this the wrong way - but i hate that fish i have seen them cause a lot of destruction. not at all peaceful. The syno market is flooded with interspecies crosses. I used spp. cause I did not know what sort of syno it is, but I know its a syno of some sort.

first pic is those tetras that eat everything. second - they are both barbs. 1 is a female cherry barb and the other a golden barb; last is a syno spp.

They sell for like $800 in some shops

I got lots of little snails that the puffers have not found just yet - or at least i don't think they have found them cause they look like they want only bloodworms and big snails. tank without flash. its a total mess at the moment, but as the tank ages it should look more natural. Added a second DIY CO2 on today. now im unsure if this thread should stay here, or be in the plant section.
