  1. No no no. That's too much salt for an 80L tank. I can tell you that by visually looking at 250gm of salt. That's how much I'd put in a 180L tank.
  2. not crazy.. ha ha... you reckon the results were better with the t5HO powerglos?
  3. ha ha mean! now get some orange fish in there!
  4. you think im only a fishy person what im saying is channel your passion to the powers that be in a constructive manner, while not losing sight of practicality.
  5. haha you guys get so hyped up about this stuff. i get passion and all but bash the smugglers if you want, not MAF. Least they protect our biosecurity.
  6. it looks nice. im surprised it actually has daltons in there, so you've done a good job covering it up! pity about the water level though....

  8. yeap. salt. 30degrees C - depending on the tolerance of other fish and finally white spot sure. dose just as it says on the bottle. I would explore why the discus got white spot in the first place.
  9. well you missed out. the animates here any ways had some on 50% discount I think, and the tubes were 30% off retail. I was soooooo tempted. but what would i do with another 108W of HO?
  10. It has no green. we used it in the windows at home. its clear as.
  11. Its cause some kids don't bathe everyday. We had to have 2 baths / showers a day as kids. Didn't get lice. Kids with lice weren't allowed to come to school and infect everyone else. Shave the kid bald?
  12. Yeah the GLO ones are the best there are.
  13. Forget about the VHO's. They are usually for marine reefs and commonly exceed $1000
  14. Put a reminder in your calendar then.
  15. I could just fill it with pots. pots and pots and pots
  16. Well so much for iwagumi. I'm considering some rotala rotundifolia to cover up that filter. maybe a pot on its outlet nozzle to stop the flow.
  17. well that's why I asked if you know what sort of mystus it is. some grow to 10-15cm and others in excess of 1ft.
  18. If you lodge a hit and run with the cops that should be enough to satisfy the insurance company surely... That is a busy intersection too, and im fairly certain they will have cameras operating there.
  19. economy? what does that have to do with the drama?
  20. Juwels are fantastic, come with great lights and are well suited to the purpose they were built for. The filter in the rio 240 is fine, but it will always be better to run the cannister in conjunction - especially since you have one already. You may remove the internal filter from the tank, but do so only after the warranty on the tank has lapsed.
  21. eek! do you have a big tank? Grab them!
