  1. Can do. Would you like me to take this pic to the clinic tomorrow?
  2. I kind of know the bird vets. One is Lisa, and I'm forgetting the other ladys name but I sold her java fern for her tank. I think she is the HOD. She likes rusty too. Want me to go talk to them tomorrow?
  3. Plant it. Neon blue dwarf Rainbowfish + Mossie Rasbora. Panda cories for bottom feeders and a dark sandy substrate.
  4. All signs of poor water quality. What is your weekly water change regime like? What is the filtration like? What media do you use?
  5. I would just leave them all to their own. Big fish like him don't tend to ship all that well. Do you know how old he is? Its only been a few hours, and so is still early days.
  6. That was quicker than expected. The magazines were sent only yesterday! Thanks Caryl!
  7. No, They are totally different. __ The yellow cheeked apistos that came in maybe 2 years ago now? looked to be the real borellii. Guess they were one of those fish that no one really paid much attention to; they were only here for a brief period and only a few people bought them.
  8. One of the cardinals in my group of around 40 got dropsy. She was a big female too, but I just let her stay in there and disappear because you can't really catch any thing in my tank and then become natural fish food. She was quite a hog and always fat. So i just left it at that. Somehow dropsy for me has always involved a fish over eating. Could be a kidney problem or what ever they speculate the cause to be.
  9. Hey! Is that your son? I see him on campus all the time!
  10. Mine died. :-? That was many years ago though. Before I officially joined these forums. It might be possible, but unlikely that someone still has them.
  11. I WISH I WAS THERE RIGHT NOW! Why is it injured? was it a cat?
  12. Oh very good. This scape looks much much better.
  13. I do! In all my tanks. All are planted. All are well filtered. There will never be so much as a speck of any thing in the water. Plants usually solve all the problems. I used carbon in my African tank. Then I used plants.
  14. I'm stumped-ish  They are all cool fish though! very greedy and inquisitive.
  15. Do you have a pic of its dorsal fin? Looks like a syno euptera to me showing sub-adult patterns. They go through 3 stages of colouration and patterns; 4 if you count the yellow cory like phase when they are 2cm long
  16. I think if you substituted the layer of poly at the bottom of the LG enclosure with something less insulated; the heat from the dragon enclosure would provide constant warmth to the base of the LG enclosure. Still need a heat mat, but they are quite inactive during the day. You can pick them up and stuff, but all they want to do is sleep.
  17. Thanks all! I erm.. pruned it yesterday morning. This is after the prune and after I removed an ice cream box full of plants. it is getting a bit out of hand
  18. JBL ball and good light is all you need. Send me a red lotus too  *Bumps KP out the way.
