  3. UPDATE: The female I shifted to a breeding tank with her mate has laid approx 15-20 eggs in the new cave and is guarding them very well so I took the male out and keeping my fingers crossed for fry
  4. Yes! Have a few photo's of when I first got them but got so caught up with sorting them out yesterday that I didn't think to take any photo's. :-? Have a bit of a brain fart when I try to pu photo's on forum so maybe if you send me your email addy I'll send photo's to you and if you feel like it you can put on forum?
  5. Yes! The eggs are a orangey colour and my male also went very yellow along his belly and his fins were continuously flared. UPDATE: The eggs on the driftwood are kind of being looked after by the other pair I have but don't think they're caring for them properly as I've seen them both out in tank at the same time, reckon it's more a case of wanting to set up home there. Meanwhile the pair I shifted into a breeding tank have settled in and are already doing the dance and picked a cave so am happy to wait and see if next time fry eventuate
  6. Thanks Ryan....the driftwood she has laid the eggs on is HUGE so do you mean I should scrape the eggs off carefully and place near their new cave in breeding tank?
  7. I have 2 pairs of triple red cockatoos which have paired up and one pair have been prancing and coloured up really nicely so I decided I should seperate them because the other male and guppies kept coming over for a nosey and were getting chased away from the corner they've chosen with a rock caverns and driftwood. This pair are now set up with their own private breeding tank and with hat mission complete I started shifting the rocks from the corner they were in in the community tank to see if any eggs had been laid. I didn't see any eggs BUT on the upside of a piece of driftwood I'd say there are about 30 eggs.....What do I do? Leave the driftwood where it is as the other pair are now hanging round there, try and shift the eggs off the driftwood into breeding net...PLEASE can someone help
