    photo printers

The printer must be a colour printer. I suspect that colour laser printers are outside my budget.

    photo printers

I need a new printer and I might as well get a good colour photo printer. With my canon eos 300D camera I thought I never was going to get a photo printed again. But, there is something about have a hardcopy of a good photo. Does anyone have a recommendation? Wish to share your experience with photo printers? This printer is for home use mainly and budget will be well under $500. Cees
  3. HI Phil Welcome on board. Looking forward to see you here often. Looks like you know a thing or two about breeding discus. Because you are new here (and admit to being lost already :-) ) I will forgive you this one. We prefer that 'commercial announcements' and links to 'commercial websites' are posted in the 'commercial trade and exchange' forum only. You can find that forum by following this link http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/viewforum.php?f=24 Anyway, please participate in all the other forums as well.
  4. what kind of plastic. pvc-glue like the stuff used for rain-gutters and downpipes will stick your frame together. hotglue should be fine as well. To attach the netting to the plastic frame use a soldering iron and (spot-)melt it in. Works great, been there, done that. :-) (try on a piece of scrap plastic first)

    Discus Fish

fantastic!. Need to get myself a 4ft planted tank and then some discus.
  6. interesting the fnzas plant survey calls it Heteranthera zosteraefolia (in google placed 1 out of 615 last time I looked) yet in google I see many references to Heteranthera zosterifolia (798) Which one is correct? I've seen that with several names of the plant survey, not quite the most popular latin spelling is used. Anyone out there with more knowledge than me who can help?

  10. can't make it tonight sorry (and I edited another post pies) I will shortly post something in the announcements I found on another forum. A summary of it is. 'before you click the submit button walk away from your keyboard. Have a drink or something to eat. Come back, read it again. If you still agree with what was written by all means, click' This applies everywhere, not just here.

  13. Zebra danios are supposedly the easiest to breed (other then my favorite the guppies). I figured it would be a good fish to use to introduce Megan to breeding different types of fish. Here is the status. We have 100's of little ones. Just become free swimming today. Now what? I have green water. I have brineshrimp When are they ready to feed on newly hatched brineshrimp? cheers Cees

  18. Not been ignoring you. Just very busy and some health problems (bad back). Anyway, I'm still keen to get this thing going before Xmas. I started on a newsletter last night but then the sky cleared and I decided to go outside and take some star photos. Stayed up until 3 am. If I'm not falling asleep early tonight I will try to send out a short newsletter to get the ball rolling. Basically it will be up to the 'members' now, I can facilitate with communication, care for the website etc. We need someone with a little more spare time (and a longer attention span then me) to make the club 'official'
