  1. Why not replace the pads yourself? I don't know for sure about your car but most vehicles it's literally a matter of pulling the wheels off, undoing two bolts, pulling out the old pads and putting new ones in. I'd be surprised if new pads cost more than $150ish. And no, you don't need to machine the rotors unless they're warped. You'd feel pulsing or vibration of the brake pedal when braking if it is.
  2. Importers really need to bring in brazilian puffers.
  3. Being an expert in uninformed guesses...I'd guess that freshwater jellies would be a bit tougher and better adapted to deal with bumping into things than marine ones. Just given that they're in a much more restricted environment with more obstacles. :bggrn:

  5. They...What? There is such thing?
  6. And queue all the people complaining that they can't sleep etc.
  7. Hmmm, At those dosages and using the largest bottles(on HFF's website) assuming those are the cheapest per volume... Seachem Prime 250ml bottle costs $34.30 to treat 10,000 Liters making it .34 cents per liter API Stresscoat 1.89L costs $57.50 to treat 15,140 Liters making it .38 cents per liter. So, pretty much the same price but stresscoat claims to be good for the whole replacing the slime coat and stress thing.
  8. What is the purpose of the liquid nails? Just to glue the MDF down? You could use something like a 4 hour epoxy.
  9. Sam, it sounds like we need to have a little talk about the birds and the bumblebee gobies...
  10. Bristlenose, just like most similar bottom feeders, tend to hide most of the time.
  11. Sorry, 10. Another while I was posting this. :ske: :lar: Edit: 11. Edit: 13. Edit: 17.
  12. Sam, I officially name you necroposter of the month. Nine so far today...
  13. It's like the lionhead goldfish of cichlids.
  14. I'd put my money(A few cents at least) on it being a male. It looks like it has the start of some bristles coming out right around it's...I guess lip? Right around the edge of its nose. But it's hard to tell if that's the pic or not.
  15. Yeah, wee fellas is totally a phrase I might use for them...
  16. Those look like the nasty wee fellas that ate all my potatoes last year.
  17. Here, let me see if I can fix those for you...
  18. Like the others said, the canister won't be pumping. But, I think there is something to that. I have tried having a 404 pumping through another 404, thought that way I might be able to just have one intake and one spray bar. It started an odd rhythmic surging cycling about every second or so. Even if it wasn't causing any excess wear or damage it was definitely annoying. No idea what the exact cause was.
  19. Boil it 4 more times. If it still looks like tea throw it in the tank anyway.
