  1. The park that was in Waipapa near kerikeri was originally started by a man named Bruce Cornelius, he had a few lions, a baboon and perhaps 1 other big cat. I think from memory they were all ex circus animals. He didn't charge an arm and a leg to get in and the enclosures were bigger and nicer. Unfortunately, Bruce passed away and his widow Mihi passed the animals (and perhaps land, not sure) on to "the lion man" Bruce wanted to give the ex circus animals a better retirement and as far as I am concerned Busch has done the exact opposite. Whilst I would love to experience being so close to those majestic animals I will NEVER set foot in Zion gardens on the sheer principle that busch is a wife and animal beating mongrel.
  2. Echo wasn't very keen either lol he bit me a few times but didn't do much damage as I had him wrapped in a flannel with only his head sticking out. I actually think he started to enjoy it in the end, of course he was not admitting that
  3. His middle tail feather is all grey, and yeah his cheek patch is really bright, is colour is still changing a bit though. I don't really mind if he is male or female. I have no intention of breeding from him. He does talk a bit already but he kind of whistle talks lol I think this is from us talking to him in high pitched baby voices lol
  4. Yeah, he is all shiny and clean now lol Still not too impressed with me though  every time I talk to him he either ignores me or makes his growling noise He is a handsome boy have had some one say he is a girl though
  5. OMG! Are you double jointed? or is it just your thumbs?

  15. ok birdy people, I attempted to make my own honey seed bell for my cockatiel, Echo  BUT it was obviously too sticky and now he has a seriously dirty moosh, his beak, and feathers around it are sticky and manky lol and to make it worse I have been asked to take him to the local kindy next week. He loves having a "shower" with a spray bottle but he dosen't like to get right in water. Any ideas on how to clean him? or what I can use to get it off that won't make him sick? Thanks in advance

    Dropsy?

lol just got home from school and as he walked past the tank.... what do ya know, he noticed there was a fish missing  Told him it was very sick and died, didn't think he needed to know that I killed it. Although he was there when my Mum had her old dog put to sleep so he does understand that when animals get sick sometimes it is kinder to put them out of their misery LOL I like this one too
