But unfortunately I don't think I will be able to make that meeting depends how long it goes for though, my partner dosen't get home til 7.45 and I will have the kids here with me Maybe next time though

LOL I will be the one drooling over all the fish I can't fit in my tank LOL Jess really knows her stuff though, I think with out her advice I would have lost alot of fish by now She rocks!

Thank you my LFS is the one in Cameron Street, I have visited the others and I found the service, advice and most importantly the fish WAY better at Cameron St So I will not be getting anything from any where else

Hi Sam I am pretty certain the eggs were from the leopard danios as I have some very FAT ones around at the mo. I am expecting to get some more eggs. Some plants would be awesome. I will PM you Thanks

Thanks for the welcome northland chick Yea I know it makes it harder to lose them. We have been quite lucky I guess, my tank was in dire straights with a ammonia spike and according to the LFS when they tested the water all my fish should have been dead and we only lost one. RIP sucky

I have 6 leopard danios, four of them are females and spawning. 1 did so yesterday and I was too slow lol the eggs all got eaten What I would like to know is, I don't have another set up at this stage but would love to save a few of the next lot of eggs, will they survive just in a gold fish bowl or will the unstable temp kill them all off?

Thanks for the wonderful warm welcomes guys I spotted a few eggs in the tank while doing a gravel vac last night, I sat and watched them like a hawk for a while until one of my platys came along and gobbled them up :evil:

oh heck lol My partner said when I got my tank " I don't want to hear you asking for a bigger tank in a few months" so I have some serious greasing up to do LOL

Thanks Cam I have 6 leopard danios (4 of which I think are going to spawn) 3 platy (4 with bubba) 2 golden corys 1 Bristlenose My tank is only 10 Gallon so I know if they keep breeding then I am going to have to invest in a bigger tank because I will find it hard to part with any body lol Does any one else have names for all the fish in their tanks or is it just me :oops:

I am a relative newbie to fishkeeping. I have a small freshwater tropical setup and I love it! I can see myself needing a bigger tank before too long lol I have had some teething problems but I can not rave about my LFS enough, the lady down there is an expert and very helpful and now I have a healthy tank with crystal clear water and to my total amazement I discoved a baby platy about a week ago!
