Inter - I have not done the experiment yet, it is later this year. I wasn't going to use them for the experiment as such. Only thing with 90 seeds is that I don't have 90 pots I will take what you said into consideration, I am doing Bio this year so something on animals/plants is a must.

91 litres, about 24 (long) x 12 (wide) x 20 (high) inches. If needed I could add some neons till it's all up and running and then put them all back in the established tank.

Setting up a new tank, could I add 50% water from an established tank, 50% new water, add a sponge filter (new, not been in a tank) with 3 bronze cory's? Would this work? Are the cory's hardy? I would also be having a few plants in there like java moss etc. Can the moss be added on to driftwood? Look forward to you're opinions Chris-

I have some Drosera/Cephalotus/Venus Fly Traps etc. Not sure whether this product would harm the plants but I presume not. It would be cool to have a 3ft trap on the plant

won't it all float at the top? I don't think I will put this on Fly Traps, forgot not to add fertilisers etc to them so this will have to wait awhile till we know what we have to do etc. If you get any it would be good to know if it works etc.

mm I don't think this would work on aquariums. I want to order some now and use it on some fly traps and see how they grow.

I was thinking about this years science fair project that we have to do. I was thinking about doing a comparison on a plant and seeing if it really does anything. Was also thinking about seeing if it works in fish tanks and if it has the same effect as outside.

It's a pitty you don't live in Auckland, I know a breeder here who sells Discus cheap.

Lots of plants. Don't get any discus that are smaller than the biggest one. Try get them all the same size. I don't think the type of food you are giving them is the problem, as I only feed my flakes/bloodworms (I have no problems). I would get about 2 more. More water changes would help to reduce this problem. How many times a day do you feed them? Sorry to hear you lost it What types do you have?

Some points I never even thought about. Like the toilet thing there that they have mentioned which is quite true.

Do they have 'small pits' ? It sounds like HITH .. do they have anything like a long thread or something coming out of the hole?
