  1. 7 is good if you are looking for a pair. the rule is 1 adult to 10g, but I think 1 to 15g is better. I have 3 in a 3ft. You will find soon you might have pairs, and that is a cause for agression. I would keep the bullies and sell everyone that cannot protect itself. I have done this and that is why I have 3. 1 gets picked on, but it still gets food and grows because it can fight back. I would do more water changes.
  2. Just make sure nothing can eat them in there.
  3. Also, would be good if you could come up with a price or something, just so I know how much to save !
  4. Thanks Rob. So if I was getting some dwarfs would you suggest getting 2 / 3 apple snails to get that stuff on the bottom? Cheers.
  5. Will the Molly Hunt be happening this year?
  6. You can join any club. I belong to the Marlborough club and I live in Auckland (there are clubs in Auckland, but Caryl's sweet talk ... )
  7. Lol well they bred in the community tank, but I helped (if you put it that way). Did quite a big w/c with water around 2 degree's colder. They have bred quite a few times after me doing this, but in a community tank normally the eggs get eaten. Sold the fry to the petshop for quite good money, and they want me to try out some different ones. These would not be going in the community tank though, rather in a tank on their own. Does anyone have a good site about breeding the sterbai cory's? Would like to try these. Chris-
  8. Everyone should join though
  9. mm thanks rob. I will look at those. Do you have any idea's on how to raise the fry from the dwarfs? Thanks
  10. Hi Andrew, I have bred the C. aeneus (Bronze Cory). I was thinking the next step up from those. Chris-

  12. I'd take 2 of each sex (or if you can't tell the difference, I'd take 6).
  13. I'm going to breed cory's soon.. still deciding which ones to do.
  14. Thanks Rob - Will do what you have listed. Is there anyway to get your own brineshrimp other than buying them? If not, where's a good source? Cheers
  15. I found this: http://www.fishtanksandponds.com/h_brineshrimp.htm Do you have to have a heater? Can you use something else instead of the tank?
  16. What do you use to hatch brineshrimp? How do you do it? Cheers
  17. Goldie - if you are going to ship them, I am keen
  18. Are you putting the 3 different species in the same tank? If you were looking at breeding, I would get a trio. 1 male, 2 females..
  19. I have seen some of these at Jansens. I think they were $14.95. If I see anymore, I will let you know
