  1. Really? I know several dogs and cats who will naturally toilet in their own yard. People walk dogs for exercise (and bonding), as a result of the exercise dogs naturally poo, (responsible) owners are then required, due to potential legal aspects, to collect the poo. Have you ever seen a responsible dog owner NOT collect the poo?
  2. Only wrong in your view....I'm interested in how she/he is able to enter his property, no doubt on several occasions over an extended period of time, and physically/purposefully teach the cat(s) to dig/crap in his garden. The other question is why would they do this when they, I presume, would have their own area on their own property for their cats e.g. garden or litter tray? Now that I think about it, where do my cats go to poo? Certainly not in my garden, not that I have seen, and I certainly don't teach them to go elsewhere?
  3. Apparently some animals can understand the human language, but apparently not your neighbors cats?? Animals can also "understand" via frequency of words and sentence structure. Opps, I'm off topic again
  4. Fascinating, how did he/she teach the cat to do that?
  5. Probably not what people need or want to hear.
  6. Humans are natural killers also but who does the most harm to animals???? Certainly not the cats.
  7. Awesome Adrienne and a very Merry Christmas.
  8. And so beings the create of "Gold Fish Rescue"....could make a great tv series :spop: Good work on saving him/her.
  9. I have also expressed interest in this auction, while I do not have the space for this fish, I do have several workmates that will no doubt have room in their ponds for the little fellow. I am interested in the "tank" for my carnivorous plants.
  10. Is someone going to actually win the fish or just argue the point about animal cruelty? I surly would but have no space nor tank available for a such a fish.
  11. I beg to differ! They go on to mention the increase in metabolism which suggests that they have some basic knowledge about the relationship between (aquarium) temperature and metabolism. They then also state that they wish "to shut down some of my fish tanks to save on power". Thus, tropical means they have a heater operational in the tank, which you would expect with Angel fish.
  12. Yes, but a natural tropical without the aid of heaters! Like is said "..most goldfish in NZ are coldwater not tropical" Clearly we don't live in Asia so the conditions are different and the comparison is irreverent.
  13. Oh come on, most goldfish in NZ are coldwater not tropical. Seems a weird reason to make them tropical.
  14. Maybe but have never seen tropical goldfish in all my years in fish keeping, which is limited compared to others.
  15. Does anyone here keep goldfish in tropical water conditions? Feedback/discussion is most welcome and will be highly interesting/educational.
  16. Yeah, them.....great cutthroat asian prices
  17. Must be cheaper than buying here in NZ? Have you not heard of PC Technologies? Cheap as!!!
  18. Won some fish in Tauranga and the guy is only free after 5pm during the week and I'm working the next 5 weekends, is there anyone coming to Auckland from Tauranga that could "courier" the fish up for me during working hours?? I don't fancy driving down at peak traffic time. PM if able to help.
