Yes? Oh, not me.... right..... Looks cool. In S.A we call ones like that park-town prawns, cos for some reason they seemed to originate from park town.... highly original aye?- Nice little spider :)
You should see the golden orb web spiders we had in SA. Web was so strong you could throw a rock at it and it would bounce out. Regularly caught sparrows and other small birds. Bite, whilst big, leaves a mark, and injects large amounts of venom, is not of medical significance to humans. These are the ones we used to collect The latest of thier kin.- Inflated swim bladder
not without me!!- Inflated swim bladder
Should deflate over time mark, The swim bladder is highly vascular, so, like a diver coming up from a deep dive, it will take time to disperse the extra air/O2 into the blood stream and then across the gills and out. this is especially hard in a aquarium where we have high oxygenation that slows the gradient. Does he de-flate after a while? If he was really stressed he would be inflated almost all the time. by the sounds of He is probably already re-covering. give it a couple more days and see if he fixes himself.- DOC online courses
Just was having a nosy around, as you do, and came across these http://www.doc.govt.nz/getting-involved ... e-courses/ 4 online courses that you can do from your living room. And, they allow you to get into some feild courses later down the track if you so choose. Might be old news for some, but I never knew they were there! So, Get some info into ya!- Fluval nano tanks
doesn't strike a chord with me personally. I cant put my finger on it exactly. But thats just me! I can see the apeal it would have for someone else though. And if you like it then rockon!- Bolivian Rams - When to Wean?

Just more of the way that men are screwed by society these days. *sigh* Having said that, when I get to 50, I wouldn't be able to handle a yappy 25 year old. I can't handle listening to the drivel that some school girls come up with. >.< I fear for the human race sometimes....- The tail of a death adder and a spider
Wow. I could REALLY sink my teeth into that. Mark meant his palps are pulpatating perpetuitively. Say that 10 times, fast!- My big malawi tank project
what about, as an idea. Staggering uprights along the length of the tank. Kinda like pillars. lots of water movement between them, and people still cant see straight through. throwing it out there- New Zealand Native Freshwater Fish For Aquariums
re-read my post. I said offended some people. For some-one who claims to be smarter than everyone else here, you sure can't read. should we add comprehension to your ever-growing list of things that you think that you do better than everyone else, whilst showing that you indeed are just as bad. Thankyou for the apology though, as much as I think that is a farse. "contain less fail". You criticise others then make a comment like a 12 year old. As for being a fan. I had recently heard some good things about you, though judging from my experience of you so far, I think that they were inflammed. Like your ego. Dictionary and thesaurus. No. I seem to be able to handle my vocabulary quite fine without them. To be honest, I can't think of the last time someone so putrid has come through these forums, spreading a vile distaste. Why don't you toddle off to wherever it is you came from? You obviously hold alot of the people here in contempt. If that is such the case, why do you come here? to troll? to inflict your self-branded downcastings on others? We could very well do without your sort. And by the sounds of it, your very content with your own company. From here, I leave you to your trolling, but don't expect to be welcomed in any thread with attitude like that.- Shall I try this?
beaten to the post....- New Zealand Native Freshwater Fish For Aquariums
@ coelacanth: The only thing worse than a troll, is a troll that thinks that they are superior to every one else and sits on thier high horse glancing down on everyone. Then, when confronted, tries to diverge and dismiss the real fact that they have offended some people. Then, cannot simply apologise, but rather continue with thier megalomaniac and elitist remarks and putting down other members of the forum. If this is how you want to make your "Come-back", I think that you will find youself very much ousted and ignored. Indeed, whether you chose to let that affect you or not, is on your own head. I assume the remark you will make right about now is something along the lines that you don't care since "99% of [us] are morons" If you so believe that most of the people here are morons, let me direct you to the "X" at the top right of the screen. I doubt that, if this sort of behaviour is how you wish to continue to conduct yourself, you will be missed. Also: The book looks good! And my coffee table needs something new.- turn off predictive text on a Nokia
I hate predictive. It never comes up with what i want to say, and 9/10 is american spelling of words that frustrates.... me to no end.... I can text without looking (and usually do anyway using "tappy" text. great for when I'm NOT driving...... - Big Cricket
