  1. Told any lovely ladies to come over and check out your magnum yet?
  2. Your probably right that the original was naff-ed. if your heater didn't need to be on it wouldn't be on, the temperature difference between the inlet and outlet of your pump is minimal, and since the size tank your talking about is relatively small, the heat holding is lower than a bigger tank. therefore running without a heater is not going to be feasible. 2 possible reasons for your difference in readings. 1) your heater indicator is inaccurate, try setting it to a slightly lower temperature, 26 or so? and see how that goes. 2) your thermometer that you are using is inaccurate. digital thermometers and stick on variety are notorious for failing. personally (and from many professionals) I only use glass in-tank thermometers. hope that helps.
  3. i thought school day colds and flu were over by 10 am anyway...

  6. "no, Tommy, I know you can't shoot, what I'm saying is that 2 pound peice of **** in your pocket would do more damage if you fed it to him" "My partners name is Tommy, tells people that he's named after the gun, but I know he's really named after a famous 17th century ballet dancer" After tyrone squeezes himself out of the door of the car taking a good long while: "I thought you said he was a getaway driver, tell me what the **** can he get away from??! "lock, stock and two smoking barrels" and "snatch" My favourite movies. David R, it seems has good taste too! I would honestly consider turning homosexual for Jason Statham.
  7. +1 to salt. decent salinity will kill off most things that may be lurking.
  8. my voices throw a party every once and a while... I never get invited though...
  9. Maybe try using the lead strips from your plant cuttings. That what I used on the others that stuck, just this one spot where I want it to stick is too wide to get the lead to bend over a lip and grip. Maybe the lead holds it firmer and allows better gripping?
  10. You forgot the magnesium to allow lighting of the thermite Ira...
  11. Me thinks dwarf gourami biotope, dark tannin stained water, chocolates, honeys, dwarfs, etc... that what I want to do for my next tank anyway.
  12. Put it this way. Some of mine stuck down within a week. One plant I am still waiting for to get a decent grip 6 months later! Be patient young grasshopper, I doubt that your fish will get stuck.

  14. From diving for he last 5 years or so, I'd say it is almost definately the slender roughy that you are talking about, especially the cave hiding behaviour. You'll see big eyes with them too from time to time.

Perhaps next time you would prefer not to unload your pent up hormonal offerings on a place that generally is respected as being a wealth of information for people to use as a resource. Why not try the local playground??? And when you have a full QWERTY keyboard in front of you, it is not "txt language" because you are not sending a text. Therefore, comes across lazy, arrogant, or a combination of the two, and when used ,as I said, as a resource, most people would agree that it is not a good way of communication of important ideas. You will find many, many people here will ignore posts with : Help!! (used as a title, with no idea of what the fleacircus you are on about...), Writing that is indistinguishable from one word to the next (such as your "text language") People that abuse the wealth of information held within the confines of this site by posting absolute rubbish. There are fun threads here, and people don't mind abit of a laugh, but complete gibberish, come on... please... my 2c, though many will agree with me, some might not, but I care not.
