we use oxheart or chicken hearts the same way easiest to cut fine when semi defrosted no fat though

scoria might also trap more detritus as well, i use a grey and white coarse sand that the otnate blends into, it looked nice with plants but the silver dollars put paid to those.

the gannet has been moving fish and has added a giant kokopu and some inanga and 2 young banded kokopu to the eel pool

have a black fading to blue at the top background on our aros, it looks good and they stand out on it, also makes tank look wider

i think most reptiles sex determination is sensitive to mean incubation temperature

there are different types some harder have kept blueys for a few years on both types no worries get enough for 2 pieces 1 in tank while you wash the other can either get edges done by rug binding or melt with a lighter to get rid of frayed bits

only running 57 tanks probably close to 40,000 litres though make that 55 tanks 2 would be classed as pools maybe
