  16. the name sand monitor/goanna is used in australia by laymen to describe a few different species of Varanus, some include the lace in that most of the sands (Varanus gouldii ) i have seen have not been as well marked as the one in photos looks more like a lace (Varanus varius) in its defined markings, but then i am no expert

  19. Just came off the mount maunganui beach, 3 diehards were surfing sand being blown hard enough to sting my legs and face had trouble standing up in the wind waves up past the high tide mark i was there looking for puffer fish washed up, didn't stay long soaked to skin in about 4 mins

  21. without seeing fish it could be something in your water parameters affecting their slime coating try a large water change maybe add stress coat or the like to tank
  22. my malawis eat it, what about silver dollars they may eat it too mind you though, all other plants in the tank will disappear as well
