    Aluminum should be ok however with corals as it is toxic. so you are saying aluminium should be OK with corals as it is toxic? that is a 7 year old article you have cited some good info here morcs on the stuff you have http://www.seachem.com/Products/product ... Guard.html good study on aluminium toxicity too

    you could be doing 30% water changes every couple of days if you want to bacteria levels will rise to match the nutrients available as nutrients drop so bacteria will drop as well with die off exporting the nutrients through skimming or water changes will help to keep a level playing field
