  8. the air stones don't put much "air" in the tank, they do create flow which helps with gas exchange
  9. loading as much live food as possible in there may help daphnia, blood worms, mosquito wrigglers also seperating into different sizes

  17. +1 it is a good base to transpose some of the other colours on though
  18. most stuff brought in privately is from an overseas retailer who has their mark up taxes etc on it commercial operators usually source from an overseas wholesaler or manufacturer can be a big difference in price
  19. do 20% water change daily ensure new water doesn't already contain nitrates etc do you have substrate in tank?
