you should be ok with 4 or 5 with good water changes 2 times a week and you should be sweet. EDIT: also have plenty of space for them to swim and and some plants/driftwood for them to hide behind.

ss heaters are more expensive they are normally used for turtles and big fish like oscars that will pick them up and bang them around + the other good thing about ss heaters is that the temp controller is in the outside of the tank so it makes it easier to change the temp.

Was just out in the fishroom and thought thats strange i sure i saw something move in that tank. but i knew i took the pair of nigerianus golds out and put them in a new tank 4 or 5 days ago and looked at the mop and thought there were no eggs on it so i just left it sitting in the tank just half full of water. :oops: :oops: so i now have 2 fry between 5 and 10mm long and approx 40 eggs which i picked off the mop and put into a cut in half coke bottle. i put the mop back into the tank as i am sure there will be more eggs on it So that is my good news tonight :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
