i think it costs about 50 a month for all my tanks currently about 35 tanks 8)

just another thing if you were prepared to do a 50% water change daily you wouldn't even need a filter. while i was in england for 4 weeks last year i had a breeding pair in 80L tank with only a sponge filter going my dad looked after my fish and they had no water changes in that time they laid eggs twice and they are fine. so im sure this filter and the maintenance he will be fine

i am also going to setup a 600L discus tank with 40 ish neons 15 cories and a few GBA's this tank will have a 2400LPH sump with 30% water changes each week

incorrect the fluval 404 is a 1300LPH filter which turns the tank volume over 4x per hour which is enough yes but that is more for the younger discus with this filtration 25% twice weekly would be more than enough. yes it will

once im fully setup it will be 50 tanks with the biggest tank being 650L i would hate to think how many L's that would be plus we are thinking about changing the 14,000L swimming pool into a pond

i have a tank with silver dollars - fully grown silver shark - 20cm+ tinfoil barbs - 20cm+ Royal Knife - 10cm BGK - 20cm clown loaches Parrot fish 9cm pictus catfish 10cm just went in to the fish room before and found these 2 fish dead Parrot fish and pictus catfish Who could have killed them

they have a few i was there at 11am any they are royal knifes not clowns :bounce: they are also only $30 the one i got is about 10cm i will take a pic when it settles in :bounce: :bounce:

as long as you can see from end to end and front to back that should be good enough

i can not drive but i can lift things and might be able to hold onto other fish if need be.
