    Killies

    are you still interested??
  2. so I'm hooked :bounce: just brought another 35 killies from Tim and was thinking of doing a male only planted killie tank 8) how many males can i put in there? can i put a couple of Bristlenoses or Gba's in there with the water temp between 23 and 24*c? It will have co2 running on it and it has a very good tight fitting lid. So what do you guys think?

  9. What type of skimmer would you recommend for a 200L tank. For now i am going to set it up a a FOWLR tank and then i might add stronger light and get all the corals ect.... i will put a sump on it what sort of lighting would be good for now its a 3FT tank thanks

    tea bags

i was told that you put the tea bag in a cup of boiling water then you put the tea bag in the tank and then finish making your cup of tea.
  11. i brought one and got my mates van and went with him to pick it up and it was just too high so we put it on its side and it works fine we were going to put it on a trailer but it was pouring down with rain lol

    Killies

yes small tanks are good for most killies i have just built another block of 4 killi tanks each tank is 30 x 25 x 19cm so they only hold 12 or 13L and i need to do 1 more soon Breeding Tanks Bare Bottom sponge filter and either a mop or peat As i have mine in the fishroom i dont have any heaters in them they are just down very low so stay between 23 and 24*c which is perfect. Have a look on this site and join if you want to as there is a lot of very good info for members only
  13. they are cool looking fish they are on the MAF allowed list so there might be some out there but i have never seen them
  14. would 30 L x 19 W x 25cm H tanks be too small for a pair or trio of killies thanks
